  • nice to see others conscious of how important this is

  • I just tuned my guitar to A=432 hz, and the results are nothing short of amazing! My guitar is suddenly dripping in incredible harmonics, in that the vibration of one string is miraculously reacting to the other strings, and indeed, with the physical structure of the guitar, producing spiritual-like over/undertones. Whether or not you believe the whole Nazi/British 440 hz thing or not, if you compare 440 to 432, you will hear that 440 sounds dissonant in comparison. You must try this!

  • Does anyone know of a downloadable piano program where you can change the pitch?

    Please email me at clinteastwood.clinteastwood@gmail.com

It would be nice if it were cheap or free, but if that’s not available, then I guess I’ll pay a reasonable amount of money.

The program doesn’t need to be very fancy.

  • The first part you feel centered in your heart and the second part is non-local and jarring. None of the music is wonderful that you're playing (sorry), but there is a definite difference and the first is better... more healing and affects the CENTER of your being.

  • @phxvalleygirl sorry, but if you pay attention to the pitch difference you will find that the first video (this) is the 440hz version. 0:40 in both reveals the most pronounced observations.

  • 440

  • there's something magical about fried cheese

  • I love this melody that you're playing. :)

  • Jeez...that's so awful...sorry.

  • This is 440 Hz. Peace

  • This is 440 Hz. Peace

  • I measure this one at 440....

  • Part 1 is sharper, Part 2 is smoother.........

  • play both at the same time and feel the vibes

  • i prefer acoustic guitar at 450hz rather than 432 or 440

but i wouldn't sing while playing at 450hz

  • this one must be 440

its not so silky smooth :) as the part 2

  • @9006126404 This one is at 432 (he tuned the middle C of his guitar to 528 Hz)... This rings happy and vibrates joy and life. Part 2 although some say its smoother, rings sadly and gets you depress after a while, promotes decadence and death.

  • This sounded terrible at first, but then it got better. I have broken speakers so the 2nd half of this video made my speaker volume shoot up.

  • Sin comprobar, algo me dice que seria 432?, suena bastante mas dulce.

    Sorry, I speak spanish.

  • this is at 432??

  • Hi there'

I'll try to answer your interesting question Reptilla82:

The sample rate comes from the digital technology. It represents how many times per second the recorder will pick up the position of your sound wave.

It can be compared to the resolution of a picture represented in pixels.

With analogue technology, the whole sound wave is recorded onto a magnetic tape.

  • 1 ghz

  • can anyone tell me how many Hz is A tuned down a whole step from 440?

  • @dpapaioannow A tuned down a whole step from 440 would end up a G? if so 391.99hz

  • okay researching this way of tuning i totaly 100% agree that it is more natural and relaxing.

this is to me kinda like confirmation as ive always downtuned my guitar and keyboard slightly coz it felt more bouncy, melodic and just..nicer.

but theres one thing that confuses me bout all this.

whats the difference between 'sample rate' and just bringing a record down to 432 pitch?

    for instance:

i take a song, lower the pitch to 432 but the sample rate frequencey is STILL 440hz...

  • the scale which is made with 432 is inside, everything add u[ to 9 and the harmoniics are amazing. if you research it they say lisening to music in 432 is healthier for you . the only downside is converting ur music over because it slows it down 31 cents. which isnt much. im not even to sure how much it is but its noticable

  • @batmaned1000 Hmm, i must tune my synth -33 cents down from 440 Hz to match 432 Hz sync sinus wave...

  • i feel that it's more bright than the part 2, i assume it's 432Hz :)

  • 442

  • Clearly 440

  • 440
