How in this world could Marty keep singing, with that incredibly beautiful woman leaning on him like that. I'd totally lost my thoughts and would not even remember where I was! Wow, Barbara's beauty, her voice, and her actions are indescribable. And, if I had a voice like Marty's, I'd be one super happy man. I'd sing to my wife every night. As unbelievable as it is, Marty was having chest pains as he performed with the Mandrell sisters in this video. Two days later he went into the hospital with his second diagnosed heart attack.

you could tell they both respected each other and she admired him so much.. He was a big influence on her in her earlier career and help her play the sax on the grand ole opry, WHICH had never been done before as it wasn't allowed before her

If you saw the entire show, you would understand that Marty had no part in the song Midnight Angel. He and Barbara sang some individually and together on others. That was one of the best things about her show. She let fans of her guest enjoy their favoites without injecting herself into every song, yet she was still the star of the show and got most of the spotlight. I think it worked out for a great show.
