I'm so sorry but I think that 「アンダルシアの夏」is full of absurd typical topics from Spain. Generalizing isn't a good thing!! And this anime is full of the typical absurd generalizations that foreigners think about Spain.

However, the ending theme interpreted by 忌野清志郎 is great.

Offended? No, because is fiction but i don't like the way the creator shows the 'Andalusian reality'..

I am not Spanish, so I can't tell, of course, though I've been to Spain. But in my opinion the movie wasn't supposed to show the reality, and it doesn't harm. Unless one doesn't like to be portrayed like kind man with the emphasis on the family life. Maybe I'm wrong.
