its got a much more rare point:

u find many lambos.

the old SLSs go away for 600 000€. 50 year old cars.

this one is actually cheaper than a porsche (and yes slower). but if u want to be fast for a cheap proce, weld urself a racecar.

this car is MUCH more exclusive than a lambo and i was so astonished it wasnt any extra 10 000 above the competitors. its less in price. and believe me: a stupid gallardo at traffic lights with a noisy high revving engine?

Well.. I can obviously see its a fantastic car. Not WORSE than a Gallardo in any way. They are both proper supercars. No doubt about it. I just think Mercedes are for businessmen and not as exotic as a Lambo. Sure you can get 600 000 Euro for an old SLS but you can get more for a Miura.

Best car of this century. DBS was my fav before the SLS came around, SLR is cool, Bugatti is over the top.

This thing is just phenomenal looking.....Mind you, I have still to see a bugatti veyron. have seen slr and a few dbs's

i love this car, i will miss the slr, but at an private Mercedes Benz press conference, they said this is actually a couple of tenths faster than the slr 722, according to my uncle who works there. they said it is in line with the Mclaren MP4-12C

I agree, the classic old 300SL has long been my dream car. However I don't like this new attempt. It's nothing like as pretty as the original. You can see they've just found a way to make more money out of the current SL...again...and it affects the lines. Can't blame them for the money side I suppose. Plus it's lazy design work relying on legacy, give me something truly original AND pretty, now that would be special.

AWESOME is the word. Yeah, I'd like to see this SLS comapred to the SLR McLaren. AMG, stayed true to the O.G.Gullwing form, in bringing the body, into the modern age.  Another GREAT Retro-spect vehicle, being brought into the future. I thought only American muscle cars, were going to do it but, Mercedes did it too. Great JOB AMG!
