What color was your hair before you went red? My hair is kinda dark brown and I want that EXACT color you have and I want to know if it will work

The music plus the red colour in the tub was a scary combo. Lol. But anyway, I love it. That's the colour I want to go for. What was your original hair colour? 'cause mine's in the middle of dark brown and medium brown. I'm worried it might not stick. I don't want to bleach my hair. I want the ginger red.

@SherbetDerbet Oh I'll go check. I was thinking the same thing. But do I have to buy different colours? or just the red shade I want? I've only dyed my hair once and it was a lighter shade of brown than my natural hair colour. Actually when I dyed it to a lighter brown, it looked brow with a tinge of orange. Make that lighter and it could go ginger...Thanks :)

@orchestralbunny Hehe, your welcome - red usually sticks to any hair quite well, and its also hard to get out - i have to use a semi-permanent dye because i have allergies - its ment to last around 20 washes but ive not dyed mine for two or 3 months and im still ginger :D

oh and how long did it take and how long did you have to wait to straighten it or wash it?

@xEtNiEs1234x i didnt straighten my hair for a while, my friend also dies her hair red but she gets hers done by a hairdresser, she waits 3 days to straighten and two days to wash. i didnt really care and did my hair as normal :)

@xEtNiEs1234x yes it matters what colour your hair is before, i have natural blonde hair so mine was fine but i dont use a very good dye cause of my alergiess. whats your natural hairr? Black doesnt work or dark brown :)
