Those were the days, weren't they? Ovett, Walker, Scott, and Coghlan probably were throwing down a few pints together later that night. Here in the US, we always got a truncated version of these races, if we got to see them at all. It was usually, wait until the next issue of Track and Field News came out to even see what had been happening. These videos are priceless. Kudos to you guys over in the UK for recording these fabulous races and posting them!

@LesbianVampireLover Comment appreciated....it's partly why I decided to put some of these vids on a year or so ago.Most of the world never gets to see some classic races from the Commonwealth Games,ditto European Championship races outsidfe of Europe,and so on. Likewise over here we rarely get to see anything from the US unless a world record (or drugs) are involved.
