My favorite Angel chracters: Angel, Spike, Doyle, Wesely, Cordelia, Fred, Gunn, and Lorne. Plus Darla and Drussila. Except Connor. Just something weird about him, and thus the end of Cordelia being a regular.

they did...buffy seasons 1-7 is the Chosen collection with them has flip throughs which are has close has you can to a full book set...and I think the Angel Complete Collection: seasons 1-5 are the same way......i've noticed that when I order them from people off ebay, 1 is a box set and other I order turns out to be a skinny slim pack box...I just thought its random...so they really don't make a flip-out box set for each season?? and everyother one really is a slimpack box or what???

I cant believe you didn't talk about the whole Wesley/fred/illyria part of the story towards the end of the series . Episodes like A hole in the world, Shells defined the show for me. And that scene where Wes dies in Illyria's arm was probably THE BEST scene in the whole Buffy/Angel saga.

Too bad Joss cant make good stuff that now. Dollhouse is terrible.

the lonliness

the atmosphere of the city (they so dont show enough of the city in later seasons)

the individual storys (instead of storylines dragging on)

how different it was compared to Buffy for a change

I think it works well if you watch them side by side because in the 1st season of buffy something might happen that will carry over into Angel, but to be honest you can watch it before or after season 4 of Buffy, its still awesome :D

@Jacobwearsprada7777 what you've probably found out by now though....is that your suposed to watch an episode of buffy season 4 then en episode of angel season 1...the rest you can just watch 4 eps of buffy season 5 and 4 eps of Angel season 2.....and so on so forth and thats really how it goes...up until Angel season 4...then its 1 ep of angel season 4 and one ep of buffy season 7...I believe

I'm nearly towards the halfway point in Season 5 of Angel and I'm going to miss watching the show when I finish.

I have to say that my fav season is 4, mainly because of the Angelus arc. Then I have to say that Season 3 is my second fav season.

Lol yeah badass wesley is the best! :D Im still going backwards and forwards between S3 and 4 as to which is my fav. Yeah I guess her being pregnant meant they had to change alot :D They had that problem with the show Alias as well I think. Yeah you were totally right about S5, smile time = awesome! :D

well she was supposed to face angel but her pregenancy resulted in the creation of jasmine. but she probably would've appeared as a regular in s5.

Cordy would make an awesome show! I love that they made that little intro for it. Season 2 was good and Im starting to remember more things about it now. Im definately gunna rewatch that finale at some point to see if I like it better the 2nd time. The Lyndsey hand thing is one of my fav moments of the show :D

Yeah I watched the first few seasons of Buffy when they aired in the UK but I was never really that into it. I regret not continuing and watching them all on TV especially Angel but at least with the DVDs you can watch loads of episodes at once :D

To be honest I don't think you do. The show works fine on its own but it means you might not get all the crossovers when some Buffy characters come into the storyline but I think you could still get by. Have you watched any of Buffy before? I would love to hear what you think when you watch Angel because it will be interesting to hear what someone who hasn't seen Buffy thinks :D
