I use FRAPS to record them and the slowness of your system is just a graphics card, processor or RAM problem.

first advice get a better microphone sec. advice dont make vids at movie maker use like camtasia or Sony Vegas and perpare em with cool effects third advice good tactics but needs to be dispalyed better by graphics and effects :)
