And WHY exactly are shelled pistachios so expensive when they have machines to do it?

@FQCS well.. you can't eat the shell so you should pay extra for already shelled ones
according to some google'ing the shell weighs about the same as the nut itself so the price should be 2x as much correct? but then they require additional processing as well so add even more money and they end up being more than 2x as expensive
shelled ones aren't good though, usually overburnt and not crispy like they are supposed to be
