They also have a wider variety of clothing options and if by some miracle you manage to damage your doll you can send it to American Girl Place and they'll fix it for you and your doll will come back in a hospital gown with a bracelet and a get well soon balloon.

I saved up all my birthday and allowance money for 2 years, and when I was 8, I finally had the $82 to buy the Kirsten doll--I was so excited!
