@yagamijase That's part of the reason Michael Bay decided to exclude the trailer from his Transformers movies -- because of it simply appearing and disappearing when he went into and out of vehicle guise, which didn't make a lot of sense.
It actully dependes on which of the many Optimus you want to consider for each project. If we consider IDW's current Optimus, it has a flat hood, but movie Prime has the long nose. That's the advantage, you can choose between many different models...even a Gorilla XDDD (though that's Primal, but you get the idea).
Michael Bay takes pride in all of the shiny, metallic shaders that he gave HIS Tfs, but your Optimus here that you made in your spare time looks just as good. *lol*
