It depends to your laptop/desktop SERATO's requirments are very simple, 7200 RPM hard drive speed and 2GB RAM for the laptop would be a perfect example.I have M-audio TORQ and it works perfect to a NETBOOK 1.6 Ghz 1gb 7200 RPM
