@splatterb0y Sorry my mistake :-) I'm very busy preparing for the xfce-less pre-alpha, I took you advice and have applied it as best I can to the next image. You need to change /dev/input/event1 to event2 . Sorry again :)
1. ) Please use a better camera next time. The quality is horrible!
2. ) Please cut this awful loading sequences, most people dont like to see minutes of scrolling text on the screen
3. ) I suggest using lxde which uses less resources then xfce, and maybe the extension for lxde which is used for netbooks to get the ui more tablet like
But after all looks like it has quite a lot of potential. keep up the good work. :)
I dont critize James, i just critize his camera. ;)
The other things are only advices from my side to make a video better.
The loading time is not important when he repeats that the loading time is shorter most times. when somebody watches this video he is confused if it takes really that long or if james is right that the loading time is really shorter.
Why should we care about if LXDE is supported or not?
The whole iPhone itself is not supported by Canonical. ;D
@splatterb0y Thanks for the suggestions, Lxde is available in Ubuntu's repo's and in theory should work with little or no modification. The loading times were ridiculous for some reason, It doesn't usually take THIS long but It'd be great if you gave the image a try, downloaded another window manager and posted a video showing it's speed, the image is for people to play with. Finally, yeh, I need a better camera :/
Are u thinking of making a build for iPod touch and iPhone 4

It was set to /dev/input/event1 already so I tried event0 but this also does not work.

@splatterb0y hey don't criticize James. He worked super hard to make this even work.
The loading time is important so people will expect how long it will take if they try this.
But yeah LXDE may be better than XFCE. The problem is LXDE is not that supported by Canonical.
