i believe i recall an intro or a closing theme where shaggy says, "scooby doo, where are you ?", and then scooby says, "over here." i'm trying to find it. maybe i just imagined it.
The ending theme came from the "Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour", but I remember when WPIX-TV used to air the 1976 episodes it was replaced by the "Swirling Star" logo at the end instead of the rainbow HB.
I'm still holding out for the proper restoration of the original 1976-77 opening and closing credits (and the Dynomutt bridging title) to "The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour." Same music, but different lyrics.
Uh.....I think that's a 1976 copyright at the end so, since SDoo started in 1969, wouldn't this be season 7? Did it really run that long? Regardless, the moment this show went AWAY from that 1st or 2nd season opening/closing "Scooby Do, Where are You" everything pretty much went to hell anyway. Call me stupid but I've always noticed how the "entertainment" people are always so fucking quick to change something that is so absolutely perfect. I will never get that.....
Interesting to not that less than 20 years before this, Hanna and Barbera and half the animators on this show were making cartoons in CinemaScope for MGM for about $100K a piece, about 45 times what they had to work with when making this show,
Same here. This one and SD: Where Are You were the best. Didn't care for the SD movies, although it was entertaining. But when Scrappy came on board, the sderies was all downhill from there. But at least the first movie (2002) was entertaining.
And the 1981-82 version of the 1979-86 Swirling Star logo actually plastered the original '74 logo on "Jeepers! It's the Jaguaro!" on some syndicated broadcasts.
No, the orange zooming HB logo. Ive looked on CLW & it says the logo's been reborn. I get so fucking nausious seeing the shitty logos of today. 1965-1990 had the best.
it's a channel that's a spin-off of Cartoon Network. It shows a lot of old-school cartoons that Cartoon Network used to show in their glory days such as The Smurfs, Scooby-Doo (and its many original incarnations), The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Top Cat, Josie and the Pussycats, and the list goes on and on.
Glad Boomerang shows those cartoons, unlike Cartoon Network these days.
I know but during that time (the 90s) I was a little kid who didn't care much for Closing TV logos. Now that im almost 22 now I see some really cool designs & music (mainly synths) from the past. TV logos now are computer generated & look boring as fuck!.
El Episodio de El Show de Scooby-Doo era "A Menace in Venice" Reemplazó al Logotipo Actual Hanna-Barbera Estrellas de Acción de 1994.

@TimsDale4ever - What about "The New Scooby-Doo Movies" from 1972? Its title theme was recycled for 1979's "Scooby & Scrappy-Doo" and its successors.
ClassicTVMan81 2 years ago
@TimsDale4ever
"Scooby-Doo, Where Are You" was revived for the 1978-79 TV season, but was then folded into the "Scooby's All-Stars" block by early 1979.
ClassicTVMan81 1 year ago
@TimsDale4ever After "The New Scooby-Doo Movies" (1972-73), they repeated the first 2 seasons until the 1976 version aired.

Thanks. I ain't seen this particular closing since May 1997. So nice to see it again. Mostly cause the theme music was so catchy.

I know one 1978 episode of "The Scooby Doo Show" has the 1994 H-B/Action All-Stars logo plastering the 1974 logo.
