  • SWEET!

  • outstanding a beautiful tribute to the one true NCC-1701

  • good job

  • Great work but the music doesn't really mesh with the TOS model.

  • Spectacular.

  • A most beautiful piece of a most wonderful ship

  • SWEET !!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!

  • YESSSS!!! OH MY FREAKIN GOD YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

  • Incredible

  • NOW THAT'S THE ENTERPRISE! :-D Even as a kid I knew it would look fantastic on the big screen.

  • DUDE! The glow of the nacelles on the hull ......... LOVE IT!!!

  • very nice

  • cant breath... so much nostalga

  • Sure looks a lot better than the model hanging from a fishing line in the original series. Ahh ... what a beautiful ship she is !

  • @ccblack1 It never hung from a fishing line. It was bolted to the floor on a blue screen rod.

  • @OpenMawProductions: Referring to " hung from fishing line ", take a look at the episode " The Trouble with Tribbles ". That's an AMT plastic model kit ( same as one could buy in K-mart ) seen " orbiting " around the K-7 space station. And it looks more like it's " dangling " from something to me, rather than bolted to the floor. That's what I was talking about. I know the huge model used for close ups in TOS was much different.

  • @ccblack1 Well that one is a different story. The AMT kits may indeed have been hung from a fishing line.

  • she the one true enterprise(1701) not the monstrosity they've given us in the movie

  • Very nicely done.

  • What I still can't figure out is if the Conny Refit had aft torpedoes? The original did but it seems in the movies and Legacy game the Refit does not. Anyone have the manual for the refit to confirm?

  • @Audioholics Neither the original nor the refit have rear firing torpedos. Forget what Enterprise shows, theres no place for aft torpedos, there's no room!

  • @OpenMawProductions Absolutely right.

  • This looks great. It does have one flaw though; in the show, one Bussard collector rotated clock-wise, while the other rotated counter clock-wise. Other than that, GREAT!

  • Wonderful!

  • the one true grand old lady

  • Aye lads. She's a grand old ship.

  • You got the bussard spinners wrong, the starboard one rotates clockwise and the port one counter-clockwise. ie: toward the middle of the ship.

  • "Nacelle Caps" should both be rotating inward and not in the same direction.

GREAT WORK NONE THE LESS !!! FIVE STARS ***** : )

  • All I can say is, "I wish Nero didn't alter time." lol

  • best Starship ever!!!!

  • @Greendayfan2519 Can't disagree with you there. :)

  • MOTO MOTO MOTO!!!

  • HORNER!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing...tell me one thing...why is there a yellow bulb at the end of th nacells sometimes, and sometimes there's nothing

  • Hi filigrant... I'm the modelmaker. The flashing bulbs are my attempt to emulate the "Christmas lights" effect of the warp nacelles on the original studio model.

Each nacelle dome on that model featured multi-colored Christmas tree lamps that flickered on and off behind a frosted dome and a twirling "propeller blade" underneath the dome.

This video is over four years old--I've made MANY updates to my Enterprise model since then. Click through to my account for videos of the newer version!

  • @PrfMoriarty

i didn't mean the bussard collectors....i ment the other end of the nacelles

  • Why couldn't the new movie be like this?! Don't get me wrong, I thought the movie was good but this.... THIS is what Star Trek is all about!

  • +1...

  • thats not nice

it's freking PERFECT MY GOD SPLENDID WORK MAN

  • I love it! I get teary eyed everytime I see the original ship in all her glory. Very nice job...!!

  • FaN-DAMM-TASTIC

  • Super cool !!

  • This vid brought tears to my eyes AND gave me a boner at the same time. Is that wrong? XD

  • LOL!

  • Hey, the great SpockBoy himself responds to one of my comments! Thank you sir...big fan of your work! ;)

  • Hey,

thanks for the kind words man!

Your boner comment made me spit out my coffee laughing ; )

    take care.

  • PERFECT!

  • this enterprise and abrams enterprise would make a unstoppable team.

  • Gorgeous!

  • It is perfect. The engine's rotational speed and even the speed at which the lights flash on the ship is in time with the music.

  • That is the way that ships should be photographed for science fiction. I have tried to watch Ron Moore's BSG, but with his "Documentary Style" it's just to confusing. This film is absolutely brilliant.

  • Absolutely Beautiful!

  • one of starfleets finest ships ever built ^^

  • dude, this is way better than the effects in the enhanced original series crap!

  • This song is from

STAR TREK II THE WRATH KHAN which to me

one of the best STAR TREK movies ever.

  • This is the earlier version of Scott Gammon's Enterprise (also known as Prof Moriarty), right? Pretty!

  • Thanks. And yes, that is my Enterprise model as it existed about three years ago. The current version can be seen in my YouTube account.

  • Beautiful!

  • Perfect!!!!!!!!

  • WONDERFUL !!!

  • my favorite sheep :)

  • That is AWESOME.

  • Excellent work. Well done!

  • I've seen a lot of bad CGI, but this one is amazing, and the music is perfect!

  • 1701 never looked better!

  • awesome

  • cool video.

  • Excellent work! If only the new SFX for the remastered TOS episodes looked this good!
