  • Very helpful thank you

  • This does NOT work. The only thing to do is to tie something around the limb to reduce blood flow (loose enough to fit a finger inbetween) and get to a hospital

  • @bigbosssauce7 You do NOT apply constriction to most snake bites (most snake bites). The only snake bites that you apply constriction to are coral snake and you apply it above the bite. A suction device will help increase chances of survival.

  • @MySinIsPurged *( snake bites in the U.S.)

  • super informations

  • @HoboJoeTERRORIZE And in some cases, people actually get more ill from the antivenin than they do from the actual snake bite itself. The venom overall causes necrosis of all the tissue components. I think the body can survive with a few damaged capillaries versus complete necrosis of the tissue in the affected area. And you don't apply any constriction to pit-viper snake bites. Now, with coral snake bites you apply a compression bandage and keep the extremity at the level of the heart.

  • @HoboJoeTERRORIZE (continued from previous comment) components. Even if it is a small frcation of the venom, it's better than not removing any of the venom at all. Therefore, increasing chances of survival until EMS gets to the scene.

  • @HoboJoeTERRORIZE The capillaries are very small and will heal themselves. And plus, the benefit outweighs the risk. When it comes to emergency medicine and first aid, it's life over limb. You can "damage" your capillaries around your eyes by vomitting due to the pressure that is exerted from behind your eyes which has no life threatening effects. It will be just like a bruise around the snake bite. The venom contains hydrolytic enzymes that are capable of destroying proteins and other tissue....

  • @ThePatrickm116 I am also a paramedic and I am absolutely appalled by your statement to "apply direct pressure to the area". Really?!? If you apply direct pressure to the snake bite, you're only pushing in on the venom and making it worse. The objective is to get the venom out of the victim's bloodstream. And if you're a paramedic you would know why. Most snake venoms are proteins that simply cause excessive bleeding. Yes, other snake venoms are toxic. Either way, the venom needs to be taken out

  • @MySinIsPurged

He said to put pressure above the wound to restrict the flow of venom. Also a suction kit is the worse thing possible for viper venom, because the suction kit damages the capillaries and removes a very small fraction of the toxin from the bite.. The viper venom is a hemotoxin and also damages capillaries. The best thing possible is to restrict blood flow, but not cut it off all together and go to the nearest hospital and get antivenin.

  • @MySinIsPurged he's a terrible paramedic if he is one at all, I hope he's not the one that shows up to save my life

  • @mike1234567ify Are you talking about ThePatrickm116 whose comment I replied to?

  • @MySinIsPurged yes. just about the worst thing to do in this situation is raise the bite above the heart and put direct pressure on it, and if no immediate medical help is available not to try and take some venom out immediately. I mean who recommends doing that? I don't think thepatrick is a paramedic. just for clarification I've never worked as a paramedic, most of yall are great, there are a some that frighten me though

  • @mike1234567ify Ya. You never apply constriction to most snake bites. The only snake bite that you would apply constriction to (and you would apply constriction above the bite) is a coral snake bite and you do elevate the affected extremity above the heart in a coral snake bite, but only coral snake bites.

  • @MySinIsPurged Interesting, what does its venom have that the others don't? I just read an article coral snake antivenom is either not being made anymore or extremely hard to come by. @ 1500$ per vial, and multiple vials needed (plus the hospital visit) that's a costly dose! I read coral snakes' small fangs do not inject a substantial amount of venom on the first bite and must 'chew' a while to release enough to kill a human.

  • what if i don't have a kit like that

  • @mike081283 Lay the victim down and try to get him to move a little as possible, your lymphatic system should be able to remove the venom from your system. Call emergency services.

  • @marineninga That is incorrect. Read my comments above on what snake venom does to you. The venom contains hydrolytic enzymes that are capable of destroying proteins like hemoglobin and other tissue components therefore causing necrosis of the tissue components. It also contains proteins that cause excessive bleeding. Sucking the venom out by mouth will work and it won't harm you if you accidentally ingest some because the digestive enzymes in your stomach are strong enough to break it down.

  • @MySinIsPurged Doesn't that depend on the venom or the type of snake?

  • @marineninga Nope. It does not.

  • lol the guy is sleeping because of the boring lecture

  • @kcazzzzz lol....looks true but its actually because of the poison going through his body..

  • NEVER USE A TOURNIQUET OR CONSTRICTOR BAND, NEVER. Mark swelling periodically with lines and a time so bite marks line 1300, bite marks line 1330 so on. it helps dr's figure out how bad the swelling and damage it.

  • I am Paramedic and I can tell you right now that does not work. It is the same if youu put heroin in your veins and then trying to suck it out to not get high. CALL 911 OR your local emergency number. If you get bit by a snake apply direct pressure to the area, try to keep the bite above the heart, Use a constricting bandage similar to an ace bandage to apply continuous pressure above the wound.

  • Comment removed

  • @ThePatrickm116 1. identify the snake if you can, remember the color, characteristic, etc; 2. immediately apply pressure (tourniqut or thick rubber band) between heart and bitten site, usually 3-4 inches away from site will be good. to block returning venous circulation. 3. call 9-11, tell them characteristic of the snake. 4. while waiting for ambulance, starting using the suction kit. suction kit will help to extract venom from interstitial spaces, also reducing osmotic pressure.

  • @walterpan she just said no tourniquet! sure, have your victims arm or leg removed too why don't you. A tourniquet is only used to stop bleeding!

  • @TheOriginalStevenH to make it clear, I said call 911 right after applying tourniquet and tell them the characteristic of the snake, they will help you to determine if the tourniquet should be left on or removed. The reason is simple. In some cases, losing one arm is better than losing life my friend. and if not needed, simply remove it as instructed by 911 or poison control professional if call is transferred. Suction does not help significantly, but is better than doing nothing.

  • U HAVE TO EAT SNAKE POOO to get vinome off like elvis dieed in toilet because he bite him sellf and was to slow to eat his poo

  • @adrian17066 LOL

  • @iiSamples :3

  • @iiSamples it hapens

  • @adrian17066 nice

  • @adrian17066 elvish never at his poo and die

  • wait... the dude looks seconds away from dieing and she was pretty slow and talked alot. i hope this is fake >.>

  • first of all, is it a medicine? if it is, i cant get it in my country. how much the kit?

  • okay i killed a rattle snake with my knife and i think some venom got on i.. how do i clean it or what can i use so i could still use my knife as a food prep tool and not be nervous for others after the foods done..?

  • @AKseries1 you do not have a problem, it is venom not poison..

  • lol before you are ready to pump the venom out its already spread so you dont get any or just a extremely small amount out, in contrary this device may cause more local damage and possible necrosis and loss of the limb. many studies are made and i dont think anyone have shown its working!

  • did that guy really get bit his face looked like he was dieing

  • One last thing: Snake oil. Sorry, just had to get that one in there.

  • Clinical trials show this to be a useless and time-wasting procedure. Radioactively tagged simulated venoms were extracted at a less than 2% success rate. High vacuum created by the device can cause further tissue damage. This technique is quickly becoming considered quackery. Get to a hospital and don't delay with this dated technique. I'm sure the author has good intentions, but she needs to stay current with the research on the subject, and not post medical advice that is usless.

  • @hugeshows

But this device is a good sex toy. My tits are so hard from it

  • Extractors have been proven next to useless in clinical studies. They pull out about .04 to 2% of the venom. A clinically insignificant amount and they can cause a fair bit of tissue damage. Not worth it guys.

    Sources? I'm a paramedic.

  • @7GeorgeB1 It's a demonstration, it's not supposed to be fast. The point is to learn, speed comes after you know how to do something.

  • The "victim" looks like he fell asleep at the end.

  • Blood letting is also great for relieving headaches....and voodoo curses. Funny stuff. Great video.

  • Thanks for the info. Where can I buy this kit?

    GINGER Rocks.

We have a camp thats way out in the woods ,I am going to buy two kits one for home and one for camp.

  • @ZachForgives Remain calm to avoid the venom rushing through your system, place a light compress on the limb (without constricting blood flow too much - you want to steer clear of gangrene) and getting help quickly is good enough for most cases. And if you're in rural areas, then you should've stayed away from the snake in the first place. If you're bitten hope you have a phone.

  • @ZachForgives It may have been done but most cases lead to infection. Go see a doctor, a park ranger, or a snake expert and they will tell you that sucking the venom out is the one thing you should never do. If you get bitten its best to get medical attention right away.

  • This is complete BS. This is the one thing you DON'T want to do when you get bitten by a venomous snake.

  • this video should be removed!!!

  • I understand your desire to BELIEVE in "medicine": that all MDs are altruists and never put their own profit first. That none are deluded by big pharmaceutical companies that spend big bucks to analyze their egos, so they prescribe harmful but profitable medications.

Hopefully all the recalls, and cover-ups will never affect YOU. It's surely in your best interest to put mercury compounds such as "guardasil" in vacines that are mandatory for your kids or you.

  • Surely "under a doctors care" can never be a death sentence. True? But I suggest, no matter how deep your belief, that you not take away the right of skeptics to hear comments or reviews that maintain that an alternative at least did no harm, and apparently actually worked! What the "experts" say when they have no experience with the specific procedure is heresay.

Please, lets not start removing videos or files because it conflicts with your deeply held belief.

  • lol i think its too late for this guy haha:D

  • This is a complete joke. I'm a medical doctor, and if anyone uses this advice they are likely to get themselves or someone else killed. DO NOT EVER USE THIS.

  • @surferdude123 i highly doubt your'e a doctor, "surferdude123"

  • Never heard or seen such rubbish in relation to snake bite. Snake bite venom has Hyaluronidase in it (binding agent). The agents in the venom will bind to your tissues and get carried through the lymph system. Sucking venom out makes no difference. In the USA the only first aid you need is a set of car keys. Get in a car and get to hospital. Only apply a compression bandage if the venom is neuro - toxic not if it is tissue damaging. It makes the tissue damage at rge bite site worse,

  • Ginger Black - you are an idiot and a charlatan trying to make money with something that will cost some other poor idiots their lives.

I sincerely hope that you get the chance to try your adapted zit sucker on yourself one day.

People - if you get bitten by a venemous snake, apply a compression bandage and GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL HELP, or you are gonna die!!!!!

  • sure I walk around with a extractor kit on the chance I will get bitten. you know sitting next to my phone in my trouser pocket.... what about if I don't have a fucken kit? how do I survive?

  • get to a hospital

  • Does this really work

  • @bigboy6969100 yes, this works, Unlike all the idiots here who think they know what they are talking about, I have personally used it in a western diamondback bite. I saw oily blood being withdrawn from the puncture wounds. The victim didn't feel any effects and I have pictures to prove my statements. I would definately recommend getting this kit if you around snakes; not because I am trying to "sell" these kits, but because I am that thankful for the sawyer kit and know it works. Trust me

  • hes freaking dying just give him the dam kit. hahah

  • This is a great product that works. Seems like a bunch of people have no idea what they are saying, and have never used the extractor in real life snake bite situation as I have. As far as I know, my friend was saved alot of pain and money(hospital bill) after I extracted diamondback venom from her bite. I personally saw oily blood being sucked out.

  • the man is dying and she talks alot LOL

  • As far as I know Extractors are a bad idea and don't really extract the poison.

  • this lady is an idiot

  • @rarrokla

You are right ,the venom will spread within seconds in veins

  • This woman talks a lot

    The man died

  • is she gonna do a whole unboxing while there is venom in that guy's body

  • that was fake

  • All you idiots saying the extractor kit doesn't work; YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT. I have no affiliation with this product, but know first hand it works great. I was 2 feet away from a rattlesnake when I saw it strike my friend's leg. It penetrated her jeans and left a puncture mark that started to bleed. Within 30 seconds I had the sawyer extractor on and personally saw oily blood being drawn from the wound. She didn't feel a thing from the bite, and we kept on like it didn't happen.

  • @whiteowlonfire Keep your hair on! It doesn't work at all.............Venom spreads as soon as it's injected in to the body. You are either talking shit, or the bite was "dry".

  • that guy is already dead. he jasnt moved an inch

  • @FuckinCrazyness hahhahah no doubt! hilarious

  • REPEAT: Look up: webmd.com (post would not let me use three w's first)

expert village should be BARRED by YouTube from posting first aid without Dr.'s endorsement, as lives could be endangered or worse, lost.

Wear loose clothing around ankles/legs, stay calm if bitten, call for help & directions to nearest med. facility, seek immediate help. Above mentioned site states who, what, where, when on snake info & has valuable info. for all ailments, meds, etc.

  • Look up: webmd.com

expert village should be barred from posting first aid without Dr.'s endorsement!

  • SHES STUPID SHE DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN BIT

  • NOW try it on you ass. the girl

  • Expert village Should be banned for giving seriously detrimental advice which will get people killed.

  • @crazy61l you should be banned on youtube for being a "know it all" that doesn't know shit.

  • I must say that this is among the WORST approaches to handling this situation, and I handle cottonmouths, rattlesnakes, and copperheads daily. keep your heart rate as low as possible, get to a hospital as fast as possible.

  • Hey people please just google how to treat for snake bite. You will see ton of informations not to suck on snake bite. This device us useless for snake bite. Alrite I telling you step 1. Dont wash the bite area. Step 2 . Apply creep bandage over the bite area toward hear level. Step 3. Call 911

  • while she would follow all the steps, the bitten person would already die (in some cases), so this is useless.

  • i hope you guys end up on the ass ugly end of a lawsuit, this is copmplete bullshit!

  • Expertvillage is garbage. they should remove this video before this advice gets someone killed, if it already hasn't. Flag this video, everyone.

  • Not every human is going to bring a fucking kit with them, expertvillage is stupid.

  • @DishOfRice It doesn't matter, this kit does nothing.

  • Comment removed

  • I was struck by an Eastern Diamondback 2 years ago on my land in N Florida. He was backed up against a big oak log , and I walked right into him. He sure didn't give me much of rattle before he struck. Thank God I was wearing my Chippewa Snakeboot's that day.

  • professional on snake handling? More like professional in BS

  • Shes a BLACK GINGER!?? Hahahahaha

  • HOLY CHRIST!!! This is just being silly.. AVOID SNAKES at all cost please.. and er... I'm am not sure if you know your Anatomy and Physiology class, miss. but Extractors wont work once the venom is in the bloodstream.

  • @heurodis You are almost right. Venom is always a very large molecule and unless it hits a large blood vessle at the time of the bite will travell in the lymphatic system and can be controlled by constrictive bandages (that is the real first aid) not the crap "GINGER" is on about. She is an Ignorant fool and is dangerous as some one may believer her CRAP.

  • @labrat7357 But you don't want to apply turnicates or pressure bandages to many types of bites. Rattle snake for instance, you never want to apply a pressure bandage. Many elapids, however, that would be the best route to go.

  • I would use it. If someone was driving me to the hospital. It's better than not doing anything while on the drive to the ER.

  • OMG!!! I work in a Desert Centre and this is the type of stuff we discourage...I've handeled rattlesnakes before and sometimes they won't even release venom called a 'dry bite'. Whatever that contraption is belongs in the garbage...can you beleive that some people even cut themselves open?? I mean, really..the venom (if injected) causes instability, numbness and blurred vision..so do you really want to pick a knife??

  • if you get bitten by a snake then get a hott girl too suck it out and you'll be fine because shes hott.!!!

  • If a snake bits you .... bite it back!

  • @Gellvos haha yeah and what if the first bite was a dry bite? the second time the snake will give you a venon bite if you bite it^^

  • @Gellvos More like get bit twice. Lol still thats kinda a funny quote. XD

  • all doctors even admit these extractors are useless.

  • I have been handling snakes for the good half of a decade. This woman is a moron and should be ashamed that she puts out this kind of false information. She is going to get some naive person killed.

  • meanwhile the venom is circulating through the body about as fast as the bite victims heart is beating. I guess anything you can do is helpful though. My training was to relax as best you can to keep heart beat as slow as possible. Call or walk slowly to help. Dont have anyone try to suck it out as they may have cavities or potential areas in mouth that venom could enter. Oh, and don't fuck with snakes. EVER.

  • I heard that you can suck the venem out with your mounth or just call 911 please do not be mean to mean if i got the sucking by the mounth because i never seen an reall snake bite.

  • people just call 911 as soon as you can. fuck the kit, once that protein in you u need medical.

  • Uh, they left out the part about calling 911 first. The only reason that I think this extraction kit is any good at all is to keep the mind occupied while the paramedics come to you. The same effect can be achieved by just about anything but if it is perceived to be helpful then it prevents the onset of panic which would spike the heart rate and in turn increase the venom spread.

  • Hey Village Idiots... suction pumps don't work and are NOT RECOMMENDED by professionals!

First... avoid being bitten by paying attention and wearing long loose fitting clothing / boots. If you are in snake country... make noise (snakes would rather slither away than confront you.) ...If you are bitten...... allow bite to bleed freely... drinks lots of water... take vitamin C powder to help detoxify the venom. Never suck venom out with your mouth... stay calm.. seek medical attention.

  • I counted 2 prep pads, every 30 seconds in 5 minutes, that's 10 times.

  • shouldn't he be in like serious pain cuase snake venom hurts

  • This is all the time you could be getting to a hospital.

  • @kiemul136 well you can probally do this on yourself while somone is driving you the hospital.

  • I think i laughed at half these comments.

If they work or not, who gives a fuck?

While you're WAITING for the ambulance, you can use the kits. It's not going to hurt to get a step ahead and atleast TRY to get SOME venom out before everything spreads through you.

The only time this advice is going to get you into trouble is if an idiot thinks the kit is all you need, and you don't need to go to a hospital afterwards.

  • @Liinddseyy True true. but I'd still say lay off the bite site. messing with the wound might produce pain and pain would increase your heartbeat.. and so on so forth. soooo basically IT'S GOING TO HURT your chances of surviving.

  • extractors are rediculous!

if you get bitten by a venomous snake: Remain calm, wrap up your arm or leg affected by the bite with a pressure bandage (or two), call your countries specific Emergency number and wait for an ambulance who will take you to hospital where you can recieve proper medical treatment.

  • @SaveTheSnakes If this lady were really an expert she would know that extractors kits don't work.

  • Please rename this video: "How to waste valuable time if bitten by a venomous snake"

Most venom bonds almost instantly with blood and muscle cells... Snake bite kit= No bueno. Antivenin bonds with venom and neutralizes it. Don't screw around. Remain calm and seek medical attention.

  • its called bringing anti venom

  • Hmm, for the time it took to take all that CRAP out of the kit (let alone using it, which initself is a crock), I wonder how far the venom had already traveled up the bloodstream.. As opposed to applying the PROPER and easy FIRST AID for a snake bite (cleaning, dressing the wound, splinting the limb, keeeping it low) then getting the patient to proper medical aid!

If not in the middle of ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE just call 911 and get a rush on a buss!

    Just a thought...

  • Some of the comments R full blown illegitimate offsprings of reason. If she is going full speed, ow do U learn the steps, and when is she going 2 explain the steps? U R 2 hours away from the nearest hospital on foot, N 45 minutes from the next chopper, what do U do? The lady says: U need 2 REPEAT these steps as MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE in the 1st 5MINUTES. People, this is called FIRST AID. U'll still need 2 C a doctor who'll inject the corresponding anti-venom. By the way how fast is bloodstream?

  • do not drink alcohal run, or anything to get your heart pumping this technique is almost useless. It should only be used if you cant get medical attention. But the chances of it working are slim to none.

  • God I really cant believe how incredibly stupid people are. And lmao @ this guy sitting there like a statue!

  • The only snake this woman handles "Professionally" are One Eyed Trouser Snakes! I hope nobody follows the "advice" in this video, it's gonna get somebody killed!

  • @MintyModF1 Laughed? I almost crapped!

  • @MintyModF1 Lest hope she gets bitten deep in the throat soon lol

  • @MintyModF1 and if any of you losers doubt me, I have pics to prove it. It pisses me off to see dumbass people talk bad about a great product, that they have NEVER USED!

  • @whiteowlonfire And it pisses me off to see fuck knuckles talk about a dangerous product as if it's the best thing ever made! Stop talking about it as if it's a magical cure, it's dangerous, and can quite often do more damage!

  • @MintyModF1 Are you a professional.. ?

  • @momochi111 No, I'm not a professional in this field. I do not, and have never claimed to be a professional. I am, however a hobbiest who personally studies scientific research published by reliable and recognised scientists, thus I know what I'm talking about, furthermore I get annoyed when I see potentially damaging videos from self-claimed "Experts" such as this.

  • if you really were an "expert" snake handler you would now that extractor is just a waste of time

  • no shaven cream? and did he get bit or was that a ink mark

  • @skateboy159: That is just pen marks cause they would not be talking about it

  • @mariopierce oh ok thanks

  • Venom binds itself to blood cells. Venom extractors don't do anything more than waste time!

  • Check out what NOLS (National Outdoor Leaderhip School) has to say about these extractors. Yes, there is debate and yes you absolutely need medical attention. If this extractor is used within the first five minutes it can be effective at removing some, not all, venom. Keep the bite below the heart and keep the heart as slow as possible. Actually the infection from pit vipers usually outwieghs the problem from venom. Bottomline get medical attention.

  • I think the dude is KO!!!

  • shes takin her sweet time while hes dying

  • GINGAH BLACKK~

  • Im sorry but this is totally and utterly RUBBISH! if your wise enough then you would know that the venom has been injected, and is now flowing in the blood stream, what you will now need is the anti venom to be INJECTED! in to the blood stream so it can attack the venom which is already INSIDE the bloodstream, what is this rubbish kit gonna do it's only going to waste time and kill the poor person, remove your video if i was you, it's a killer more then a survivor!

  • Im sorry but this is totally and utterly RUBBISH! if your wise enough then you would know that the venom has been injected, and is now following in the blood stream, what you will now need is the anti venom to be INJECTED! in to the blood stream so it can attack the venom which is already INSIDE the bloodstream, what is this rubbish kit gonna do it's only going to waste time and kill the poor person, remove your video if i was you, it's a killer more then a survivor!

  • I thought he really got bit. I was like, WTf B****, save his a**!

  • No you guys are all wrong..

what you REALLY have to do if you get bitten is to start running around as fast as you can, for as LONG as you can! You need to start sweating, when you start sweating you'll sweat out not only sweat but all the snake poison!

Remember this only: RUN LIKE HELL

  • @fearmycomments no no no if you run the blood will circulate fast it will take the venum in to HEART & BRAIN. you should stay calm & seek medical attention immediately with in 2 hours

  • @vivekkumarmunjal haha, I know, I was just being silly

  • The venom would be in your blood stream and right throgh your body before you would even get your kit out.

  • by the time you even get the stupid kit open venomous neurotoxins are already circulating through your blood. about as useful as a brass bullet on a werewolf hunt ^ ^

  • I present you: full crap this will never work the vemon inmediatly starts flowing trough your blood stream

  • @BSRRMCZ It spreads through the lymphatic system actually (unless you are really unlucky and get a fang directly in a vein).

  • living on an australian farm you get taught to NEVER suck out snake venom. sucking out the venom causes the capilerys around the wound to burst making the venom travel faster. also if you cant tell what sort of snake bit you then most hospitals can just from the excess venom around the wound.

  • LOL GINGER BLACK XDDDD !!!

  • This really works!!! I also touched a frog yesterday and got warts, then looked outside and a Yeti was in my yard...this lady is full of shit

  • Correct me if I am wrong, but this isn't the dark ages and we have already establish that blood circulates right?? The venom would not just sit there...

  • he looks dead.. the time he could of used to go get medical attention would have saved him instead of reading that bullshit and doing that... and who carry's one of those fucking retarded things with them anyways?

  • This extractor is great! It really works!

I also touched a toad yesterday and got warts. Two days ago a Stork delivered a baby to my house and Big Foot is mowing my lawn right now.

Sorry I have to go now, I made a face and the wind changed, Im off to the hospital to get it changed back ....all paid for by universal health care

  • lol, professional handler, what of corn snakes! why are there so many stupid videos, on youtube about snake bit first aid.

this person is a idiot, let her use this kit. if she did, the most likely outcome would be a lost arm 'if she was lucky, spending all that time would most likely allow the venom to do so much damage.

absolutely ridiculous. do everyone a favor and take this video of, then delete all traces of it..

  • @andrtaker lol brave boy !

  • GINGER BLACK: here some medical supplies bla bla bla

man takes deep breath then dies

  • this stuff works ,after a snake bite just order one online and wait for 1 to 2 weeks for delivery ,if not delivered in 2 weeks call there toll free number if there is no response after another week call 911 and report the snake bite

  • This kit causes more damage to the victim than if you did nothing. Dr. Sean Bush, MD "Venom ER' on Animal Planet has a scientific paper published in a medical journal, demonstrating that this is a very bad produt to use. Calling 911 is the best first Aid for snakebite.

  • This is crap. It will not work. It would work if the venom stayed where it was injected but it doesn't.

Here's how you survive a venomous snake bite: Don't get bitten in the first place! Keep your hands away from any snake you cannot positively identify. 90% of all venomous snake bites reported to ERs in the USA are on the hand. Unless you're knuckles are dragging the ground when you walk, you're harassing a snake and, IMO, deserve to get bitten.

  • @NineCatsz its not that easy sometimes you may accidently step on a snake while its hiding in a bush the snake gets surpised and attacks

  • @irelandcool1 Did you miss the part about 90% of all venomous snake bites being on the hand? And of those 90% who are bitten on the hands, most of those are beer-related bravado.

Very, very few people are bitten accidentally from stepping on a venomous snake.

  • @NineCatsz 100% agree. Sucking does no good and 90% of all bites are caused by people handling or harassing the snakes. Just wear a snake boot in case you step on them accidentally. You will be fine no matter where you go. Moreover, in US except the coral snake all the venomous snakes are pit vipers with tissue damaging venoms that don't kill people instantly. Calm down and take your time and go to the nearest ER. More chance of someone dying from lightening strike than a snake bite

  • @fuckvegan

Sucking the venom can kill you when you may not have died if you hadn't. Neurotoxins will make your throat swell.

  • @NineCatsz better than doing nothing
