I doubt this will be as scary as parts 2 and 4 those were the scariest, three was scary too and, this will probably scarier than the latter sequels which were more comical than scary.
Back in 98, when Van Sant had the audacity to remake "Psycho" At the time I thought, "Great, now some shmuck will probably try and remake Halloween." 10 years later Rob Zombie decided he wanted to make terrible movies instead of terrible music. So there we were in the end of the first decade of the 21st century with two of the holy trinity of slasher movies remade- Psycho and Halloween now had malignant attachments- now they are going to sully the name of Crystal Lake...
But for me this story ends with Freddy vs. Jason long live the kings and I pray to god some day some original shit eventually gets written and that Cali finally falls off into the sea along with there shity ass remakes.

It looks great, but the real test will be the movie itself. It could be great or fail horribly. I hope the transitions between the story lines are done well - from Pamela Voorhees to Jason with the sack to Jason with the hockey mask. I agree that this trailor spoils a lot, but it's cool that it's a remake of the original trailer and it's done well. The movie, I hope, is done just as well.
They showed all the killings, so the suspense (the best part of a horror movie) is all gone - and you're just left with gore. They should put a 'spoiler alert' or something at the beginning. x

the production said earlier to the making of the film that it was going to be kind of a remake of the first 4 jason films, but im not sure if they turned down the idea.

People in these movies are so stupid. They run and hide. The guy mostly walks so insted of hiding, run and run and run. These people hide in small places and then they are trapped. But this movie looks sooo good.

Holy shit! This movie looks like the shitty remake of Texas Chainsaw, but with Jason. A couple scenes look the same. Hiding under a car while someone gets killed, gay! Thank you Michael Bay for shitting on the best Horror franchise, I hope Bay dies in a horrible way, just like his movies destroy great memories. And stop saying " OMG it has Jared, I love him!" He was already in a shitty "horror" movie if you can even call it that.

I doubt this will be as scary as parts 2 and 4 those were the scariest, three was scary too and, this will probably scarier than the latter sequels which were more comical than scary.

Alright fuck rods I'm 30 years old so I know what fuck means and yes this movie will most likely be "cool" in the fact that Hollywood will fill it with all the new "cool" actors and new FX you tools love. But for me and any other true horror fans it will suck ass. Face it you dumb fucks you are going to pay to see a movie that came out before I ever even knew what a horror movie was so enjoy destroying a perfectly good franchise.

It looks great, but the real test will be the movie itself. It could be great or fail horribly. I hope the transitions between the story lines are done well - from Pamela Voorhees to Jason with the sack to Jason with the hockey mask. I agree that this trailor spoils a lot, but it's cool that it's a remake of the original trailer and it's done well. The movie, I hope, is done just as well.

It'll be a dumb F13 movie, but probably Bay will shot it better than the old directors. And it's cool that Jason and not his old mum is the killer.

this is how i think the original part one should have been somewha tlike. so they can sho wthe original intention/reasons for jasons kiling spree and how he manages to stay so strong and always hidden from his enemies. not to show his mom getting pissed of and then through flashbacks to say jason went insane an ddecided to be the king of killers so he cann destroy everything. its important tha tstorie shave a backround so the audience know s wats happening.

Erm... the mother was the killer in part 1. Jason was the killer in part 2 and onward. The reason why Jason went insane was because he saw his mother being killed by the girl who survived in part 1.

ok,fuck this already...this movie will be awesome!!!no doubt about it,it will be hardcore like the texas chainsaw massacre...obviously more brutal...and I am glad to see a remake from Nispel/Pearl cause they are maybe the best filmmakers of today,especialy glad cause the first Friday the 13th wasn't really that good...it's a cult movie,but it is simply not that good...the 2nd one is far better than the first :) and this one will be really good...don't judge cause u think u are fans.you are not!

I heard that Jason is going to be more sympathetic in this movie. What would it be like to see Jason going after the final girl, and he gets ready to kill her, but he sees that she's terrified and stops. that would be interesting.
