  • That violinist. ♥

  • great projection it sounds great with a Bösendorfer grand piano in the background too

  • Just sang this last night at my last winter concert :'( gonna miss singing with them. Loved this song though.

  • my high school choir sang this song last year,it's so beautiful, i fell in love with it. ^_^

  • Veh not vee!

  • The song is in a fast paced tune... I sand this song when i was in choir. They teach you to sing that fast :)

  • it sounds a little bit fast in the begining ....... the male part is great ...but it seems like the girls are rushing ......

  • this sound is exquisite. like chocolate for my ears. seriously.

  • oh man. soooooo legit. you guys have a GREAT sound, especially for such a small choir. beautiful recording.

  • its great tht even though they are relatively small choir they can produce such a great huge sound great jog!

  • this choir is absolutely amazing but their biggest problem comes up in "kalla kalla". Their individual "la's" are very muffled and not very clean and crisp. Other than that, great job. :-)

  • @MusicEdACB I think it does however, add to the fact that this is a mourning/moving on mass performance for the conductor, and this choir is also trained fully in the classical style, and Italian operatic movements are known for such slurring. A bit of enthusiasm during those la-la-las however, would have added contrast. This is meant to be David's duplex of emotion... 9/10

  • @Icyveins906 I think just a tad bit more separation, and a little more "lilt" (as our choir director calls it) on those dotted patterns would address the issues both of you are noticing. It's such a drastically small change vocally, but aesthetically makes a really big difference. Yet another Whitacre piece I'm going to bug him into doing!

  • that is awesome! :) we're singing it in our choir, just started... eric whitacre is a master!

  • @amandajeanneevans Yeah, we're sining this too this term. It's really awesome. I think I'm gonna cry at the concert when the song ends.

  • Amazing sound. Brilliant performance!
