  • amazing story and true fighter

  • Dr. Jallo is an Angel! My fiance had 2 tumors removed on Oct 3, 2008. One on the brains surface and one that was attached to the brain stem. Without Dr. Jallo my fiance wouldnt be alive. Its been almost 3 years and there has been a full recovery! God Bless you and your family and most of all Dr. Jallo!

  • What an amazing story. My son was diagnosed with a Pilocyctic Astrocytoma T2-T11, he was 2 1/2 years old when he was diagnosed. A laminectomy was preformed at Lucille Packard Chidrens Hospital at Stanford. We were told he would probably never walk again. It has been two years and he now walks with forearm crutches. He gets scans every 3 months to monitor the residual tumor that remains in his spinal cord. What an amazing story...gives me hope :)

  • Wow! this video brought tear to my eyes. Steve is such an inspiration. From doctors saying he wouldnt be able to walk to just playing and kicking butt at volleyball, its truly amazing. Thank God for doctors like Dr. Jallo. Steve is such a wonderful fun-loving person! I love you buddy!

  • Doctors working at Johns Hopkins have been at the center of so many real life stories like Steven McDonough's. Every day there are parents at Johns Hopkins hoping and praying that surgeons, practitioners they hardly know, will be successful. Life and living after recovery has got to be sweeter and more precious for Steve and all the lives he has touched.
