Great tune, thanks for the post. I also listened to Danny Sandoval - Hardly See My Way, and the tune features great Chicano harmony and the sax is a killer!

An unusual, but fun, version of this song, which was written by Moe Jaffe,Henry Tobias,& Larry Vincent in 1937. It reminds me a little bit of the recording of "If I had My Life to Live Over" by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

I was so shocked to find out that Bobby Pedrick Jr. became Robert John that re-recorded "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," in 1972...I love his pre-teener gem: "White Bucks and Saddle Shoes!!!" Many thanks for posting this gem....FIVE STARS!!!

I TOTALLY agree with you and grandprix, I LOVE THE SAX! Do you want to hear a SUPER sax, type in Danny Sandoval - Hardly See My Way. If you guys want, I'll post a clean version without the talking. The record was sold a few years ago but I did keep the recording, just let me know?
