The video mentioned specifically that the drug is schedule 1 in the US, but that practitioners of Santo Daime in the US are exempt for religious reasons. That's what sirjosh408 is talking about.

@belford82 It can cause a lot of damage even when ingested. Do you know what marijuana is? It's not a single drug like alcohol its over 400 different chemical components. The second Thc enters your body it begins it's effects on your brain. I used to sell for a living I know my drug. If you want me to get further into this, ill be happy to man. :)
