I bought this hummer in Iowa it now has a home in Texas. I have a few questions if someone from Maxxsonics could please answer them for me.

1. Center console switch one operates the stereo - switch 2 top row works the TV's what does switch 3 do?

2. Bottom row Switch 3 operates neon ground effects what does switch one and 2 do ?

@shaqthatwontbitebac If you are installing a single Olympus 2412 or 2415, I would recommend looking at the Hifonics BRZ2400.1D to power it. I would recommend doing the "Big 3" upgrade, consider an upgraded alternator, and you can keep your battery up front while adding a Kinetik HC2000 or HC2400 in the rear.

@shaqthatwontbitebac Yes get cap and 220 amp alternator 1 gauge wire for the alternator with 300 aln fuse 2X 2000 amp kinetics batteries. I have 3 olm 2412 hifonics subs like you and I will need 5 2000 amp batteries and 2X 220 amp alternators and 5000 watt amp to run each.

@rabbit69skater4life make your own. Go to place where they sell blinds and get the clear rods that adjust the blinds. Place in oven to soften, then bend to shape. Let cool. drill two holes in each end deep enough to hold led lights color of your choice. Place clear nail polish in the drilled holes to make holes transparent again. Enjoy

that is awesome! i wanna know how good is the Hifonics Zeus line? im looking at the ZXi1010 and i dont have much in my car just enough for me in a daily driver, i have two 500w rms apiece subs in my trunk and i would wire them to 2 ohm each channel so the power on this amp should hit them perfect, is that a good amp, oh and i found a good deal on it too on ebay for only $165!!

@ridge0957 Not tying to rep Hifonics or anything, but I have 2 kicker cvr's which are at 400 rms, go with the Brutus 1200.1, that way you have some room to spare without turning the gain up all the way. Good amp for the money, I am picking up another to match my current when I upgrade to 2 1000RMS DC lvl4's.

180 is a vehicle with at least 20kw power and spl subs and they have box's built for the db meter plus those cars often dont drive or the have doors bolted shut then cemented so there is no db loss steves is completely street legal in a way and drivable and steves is built for music he is tuned low and still banging 160+ if he wanted to build a spl van i bet he could hit 180+

i have always been a big fan of mtx, they are accurate, loud and reliable. but that mess costs too damn much. comparable hifonics products are about half the price. and after learning that many soundoff competitors use hifonics, i'm about to see how much i can cram in the trunk of a lumina. i'm going to try to fit 4 brutus 12's.

The Hifonics XXV Colossus is a 2 channel 3200watt rms amplifier. It is stable to 1 Ohm per channel or 2 Ohms bridged. What impedance (OHMS) are your voice coils? DVC or SVC? If everything matches up, you could get up to 1600watts rms per subwoofer. That would slam!
