Question, do you get better accuracy in this derringer out of a short cartridge like a 40 S&W or a .45 ACP than you do out of a .45 LC? (I'm thinking you get more rifling that way since the 4 1/4 inch barrel includes the chamber and .45 LC is such a long cartridge)

@mattxr2i Long Colt was actually used to differentiate the .45 Colt from the shorter .45 Schofield by the military in the late 1800"s, several years before the advent of the .45 ACP.
I hope you are using outdated meat to demonstrat.I'd hate to think an animal was wasted just to show some ballistics testing.I would of thrown them on the grill and ate the damn meat.What a waste !
How do you think this would perform against a black bear. I have the Snake Slayer IV 410/45lc model and use it as a field carry gun but some have suggested it doesn't have the penetration capabilities to put down a black bear. So I've been thinking of buying the .44 barrel for this. Any opinions?
The Bond Arms is a VERY serious weapon, I have 4 barrels with plans to buy more for my beloved Bond Arms Derringer's. This weapon is devastating upon impact. I recently downsized my arsenal, because Bond Arms seems to outperform the other pistols I had. Also, the fine misty powdery sands in Iraq did NOT cause any issues, as it did with the other weapons used there. The FINEST Derringer ever made, Bond Arms!!!!!!!

I have chosen the snake slayer 4 as my CCW because of its versatility, construction, and reliability. I am confident, that God forbid , I am forced to shoot someone in self defense.....They will stay shot!!!

About 4 days ago bought the Texas Ranger 3in, fired yesterday and gotta tell ya that little sucker got some rock n roll to it, also found that beyond 10ft the spread in Fed .410 000 is just to much took a shot at bout 25 ft not 1 hit paper it but 10ft and closer god help you if ur on the other end of it. Like the vid to keep it up
