  • The other ways to solve quadratic equation numerically is the root finder algorithm, via iteration. The quadratic equation has to be put into a "fixed-point" form before using iterations. If the iteration converges, then a root is found. If not, then the quadratic doesn't have a root.

  • thanks sir this was good...i found out that every school (teacher) teaches a bit differently and so most of the help i got is nothing like what my teacher taught me..this is the closest and so far the best i got.
