  • it is hard to observe when you are so anxious to drift.

  • keep pressing 1 for "crusty asshole"

  • Awesome vid... I just bought a Tamiya TT01D E Type Drift Spec, today actually... I've only driven it for about 20mins, but man it's fun... I'm glad I got to see this vid, cos I didn't relise that drifting a RC car takes some sort of skill... OMG, I'm so going into practice mode tomorrow... lol At the moment I just straight up suck at the drifting part...

  • Is That A Stock HPI E10

  • using drift assist sistem?

  • HPI d box is an overpriced gyro. $100 for a $20 gyro just because it has a light and HPI sticker.

  • Great Video! :DD

  • do u put the slick tires on the front the back or both?

  • @Granturismoman What about drift tyres? both?

  • @radioactivemovies river boat

  • hi good tips 1 question im just about to start drifting ive done touring car and off road races but never done drifting is that car 4 wd or rwd and any other types you think i need please could you tell me thanks and good vid

  • @jay123lufc My drift car is 4WD, not many people use RWD. If you take a standard touring car to convert to drift all you need is; Drift tyres (HPI T-Drift are highly rated) Locked diff, Stick some bluetack on the diff under the casing and your ready to go. If it's spinning too much take some of the blue tack out and try again.

  • man, this is like soo hard to do

  • @azurcfro Add some Toe-In on the front alignment and move some weights up forward to start off... I also like to put strips of duct tape on the curb-smacking parts of the car.

  • i wish i was that good!

  • i want one lol, they look so cool

  • i got 1 guestion are im good if i drift like 15m in winter with stock tamya gravel hound its like so old the max like40 km h i dont hav drift tires or new servo just old tamiya?answer plz

  • @MrCocadew nobody can understand that gibberish you just wrote

  • how much is the tyers

  • ROFL...I like how he says it takes time to learn, and then he says, "But if you want to be a pro in no time."

  • @TheGDaaR u just need some drift tires or if u want u can buy a drift car from nitrorcx like I did.

  • do u need to do any diff upgrades to drift?

  • @azurcfro have u got drift tyers cuz if you don't then get some

  • drifters secret weapon.. yea right..

  • does it have to be an expensive 1 or can it be 1 from walmart that i can put drift wheels on?

  • Dbox sux! for idiots who are impatient! hole point it to learn!

  • @omardude2 ur spelling is a little off i had 2 look close to read it

  • does it haft to be 4 wheel drive because i have a landrover rc and i put cellotape on the wheels and it can do burn outs and how much do the drift wheels cost and my rc car is electric by the way

  • @MrChimpanlee yea it has to be or else itll go out of controle, when using the 4 wheel drive the wheels rotate while ur on the turn, causing both a push and slide, the front alows it to slide while being pushed forward

  • where i can buy RC cars with very good quality in germany shops?

  • shud it be electric or petrol

  • dOnt bUY d-Box!!!

  • dont get the dbox.... if you actually want to compete, you cant use it, its not worth the 40 bucks they sell it for, and if you cant drift without one, you are a loser

  • How much is the D boX drift assist system ?

  • @MrzaSyahmi i think its about $40

  • not even close,, the poor bit rate and microphone just turned "asphalt" into "asphal" without the letter T. sounds nothing like asshole.

  • not at 1:30 but on 1:28

  • Note: I use HPI T drift tires and they are no where near as fast on the track as this video shows. Unless my brushless system is over powering them. I think I spin too much.

  • Heres the secret to a good drift. 1 degree tow out in the front and 2 degree toe in at the rear. Boom! Awsome drift set up!

  • nice drift

  • the dbox isnt the drifters secret!!! a real drifter only needs the right counter-steering angle technique =)

  • @chunjo100 yeh you have to be completely stupid or a woman to need one, the first time i got a car out i was doing it in a matter of minutes.

  • at 1:30 he says find a smooth clear ashole lol

  • @Giela17 he says find a smooth clear asphalt area

  • @godnelmo2 it was a joke.

  • @Giela17

definitely says smooth clear asshole. haha

  • @Giela17 asphalt...

  • @Giela17 lol he said as phalt, lol u heard it wrong XD

  • @Giela17 i love the way he say that!haha..

  • @BurnoutParidiseFan buy a better car lol

  • @BurnoutParidiseFan Then your pretty much skrewed

  • or u could buy pvc pipe from lowes or home depot to fit onto your rims... way cheeper

  • were can u buy that in west covina

  • @love2shuffle123 hobby shop in downtown covina

  • sick ass drifting

  • Try to find A traxxis 4 tec or a e10 drift

  • helloooo.....super nice video!!!!....I want to get into this hobby....so I have no clue about anything!!!!....so I would like to know the best brand to begin with (not a cheap one!!!)....I read somewhere that the best car would be a tt-01....but is it like a general model??...which brand is it???....cause I was looking to some models online and they have like tt01E...tt01ED....are those the same???....which website is the best for buying cars, parts,etc??...well thanks and have a nice day!!! :D

  • @cesaralejandro4481 not sure about the rest, but the tt-01 is a specific chassis that is made by tamiya, this chassis is used for many of tamiya's 1/10 scale cars. the tt-01 is a plastic chassis and is a reasonable car for the money but is not something that is going to be a world class drifter, a good drifter for the price but not the best.

  • i was wondering can you just buy a normal rc (around whats sort of price? ) and then just put drift tires on them ?

  • @bloodvessel96 Bro yes u can do it buy must hav 4 wheel drive rc car

  • where can i buy any of this cars (on internet)

  • @f3llpwn3d

i got a chassis you want it?

  • this is how I do it, if anyone cares. My tires are PVC. No Traction at all. Also, I have a one way differential in the front. So that when I hit the brakes, only the back tires lock. This simulates a handbrake in the real drift car.

  • wow, cool dude. thx for lessons

  • @TheEnno64 thanks:)

  • where can i get some rc drift wheels, the beginner ones

  • hey guys

    i have tt-01d

    is it good for drifting?

  • yh, but you gotta buy som drift tires :P

  • tt-01d they are good for drifting

  • i know this is going to sound dumb but do i need to have them slick tires to all 4 wheels or just the rear 2?

  • that isn't dumb. i dont know hit im asuming all 4 because in a good drift all 4 are sliding

  • u can tape just the rear tires but it is easyer to tape all 4 it drifts better hope i helped

  • i have a mistubishi evo with a fast and the furious vinyl and green paint job carbon fiber hood. i just need 6 aa battieries and one of those rectangular battieries no i did not do the paint job i got it for christmas about 4 years ago

  • rectangler i think u mean 9volt lol u should get a battery pack for it

  • for the people who maybe wanna buy a rc car: i got a hpi e10 ( blue rx7 ore red ae86) and his top speed is good enough when you only wanna drift, so the chassis is good but the electronica sucks. if you wanna drift more than 15 mins you g2 buy a better battery and a better battery charger.

  • nitro dude

  • nitro sucks... its to fast for drifting.

  • nitros not that hard you just have to have real quick reflex and you gotta know your track realy well :P

  • 5 weeks ao i did et my tires blow while drifting in parking hall so when drifting check the area from class and metal so your tires will not blow like in my sweety lambo.

  • Which body type (1/8 or 1/10) do u use for these chassis?

  • 1/10 :]

  • not talking about the blue rx7 the guy is using

  • are these cars stock or are they running brushless motors

  • Anybody know a retailer for these kinda cars in Canada? =O

  • i ist a RWD car on the video or AWD?

  • AWD

  • AWD

  • hmmmm does the the rubber of the tire loosens it's grip? O.O

  • There Is No Rubber...

  • oh O.O so you don't need to change tires xD thanx

  • @hp1hp2 The Tires Wear Out Though xD

So You Might Want To Get A Pack Of Drift Tires For Whatever Size Your Wheels Are..

They Do Take a While TO Wear Out

  • im trying to buy a electric rc drift car can someone hook me up please

  • d box is cheatting you dont learn nothing when you use it i have that trueno and i dont use d box

  • this is just to get you to waste money lol. informative but the bit in the beginning is advertisment

  • where do you get the drift assist system

  • you could get it off from ebay, or a local Hobby shop, but not a lot of them supply it. Before purchasing it, remember, it won't let you fully learn, as you'll rely on it. And you can't take D-boxes to competitions, they have ALL banned them. Except for the little ones, but whatever. I suggest not getting it. It's around $20-40 by the way.

  • For a cool video on how to do an rc drift with ANY car search: "how to perform an rc scandinavian flick" Enjoy!
