i was at this game im from winston salem and a vt fan i was shocked to see probaly 50 50 vt wake forest fans, and it was over when yall tried to steal enter sandman u hit the bells for hells bells the enter sandman you wake fans where stand liuke wtf just happened at the vt fans inlcuding me said wtf they stole our song and started jumping ourselfs wrong move ask lsu and miami about stealing enter sandman

I was at the game and I would have to say this is pretty accurate. The most Wake fans ever at Groves Stadium was for the BC @ Wake game, though. 95% Wake fans and sold out!

Hey BigHippiePat, you asked what VT has to show for this season? How about joining USC and Texas as the only teams in the country to have three consecutive 10-win seasons. And I'm happy for Wake, but not for the league. The half-empty stadiums at the ACC Championship and the Orange Bowl were just pathetic and embarrassing. Hopefully next year the league will turn itself around.

But all of u need to shut up about the fans at wake b/c wake only has about 3500 undergrad students and to fill a stadium that holds 35000 is farly good! And all of our liveing alumi in the world came to bb&t field it still wouldent be full so shut up about wakes fans!Atleast they will do somthing with there life after collage b/c wakes a great school!

half empty orange bowl? attendance was 70,000 plus and there were probably more wake fans than louisville fans, it was there fault attendance wasnt like 80000

and the acc championship was like 45 degrees and raining which meant that none of the locals would go b/c they have the option of watching it at home and still the attendance for that game was over 55,000

hoofreak7, you bring up a valid point. Yes, the OB sold 75,540 tickets. Unfortunately, only 49,821 showed up at the gate. And the ACC Championship game sold 62,850 tickets. Unfortunately as well, only 37,879 showed up. The fact is that people bought tickets to both contests, but no one cared that Wake Forest was in either one. Plus, the scalpers probably couldn't sell the tickets.
