Marvelous performance. Most expressive. I wonder why she isn't better known. Although I do notice that she doesn't play faster pieces such as the Chopin Etudes. But I enjoy listening to her.

A decent performance, but unfortunately a bit limited at times in areas such as dynamic range and accuracy. There are certainly plenty of piano professors who play at this level, though the college could have probably arranged for an outstanding soloist rather than a career educator.
very interesting -- you can hear 'music' that Debussy used in later pieces -- Sarabande and Jardins sous la pluie. Then, had Schumann heard that fourth mazurka before writing Carnaval?
It's inspiring to come across you again. It's been decades since I met you with Dr. Antemann at Chataqua institute. Still a phenom. thanks

@PIanoReview OK, I also have preconceptions. But can you be more specific in your comments (what piece, what passage, etc.)?

@PIanoReview
instead of listening to what is here you meet the performance with preconceptions and sound like an educator?

Actually, sorry to give you a hard time. Regards

Career educators can't be outstanding soloists? Pianists are pianists. Where their money comes from doesn't determine the quality of their playing.

@PIanoReview. Please note that this "career educator" won Naumburg twice, and a prize in Warsaw. I'll take this over Lang Lang any day.
