Ok; so i'm supposed to go and put a filter on my tank that already has two filters on it... why not give us tips like... what kind of brush to use, how to brush the tank, and when and where to do it? Instead, you like to sit there yappin on filters; didn't mention any names, just stated the obvious. i hope that you remove this video from youtube; the title was VERY misleading.

@321Bizzare I honestly don't waste my time asking advice from anyone who works at pet stores. They keep their turtles in really small aquariums and feed them the bare mininum and usually don't even have temp controls. I usually research everything online and try to find a consensus as to what works best.

Also, All Living Things makes a tank brush kit, it has four detachable heads that you can swap out, and there's a corner one, a stiff brush, a softer one, and a scraper. cheap and super-handy.

DO NOT just dump all your water out. Partial water changes weekly should be fine. Also, those poor turtles in the background in those small tanks, it's just wrong :( They're too big to be kept in them.

im going to change it after when i come back from the orthadontic so i clean it properly

Ummm, I am planning to have a box turtle. This video isn't talking about cleaning the tank. It's telling us how to filter and clean tanks, with water, that's practicly from turtles that spend most of their life in water.

dont use windex, get a hose and spray it out real good and let it dry in the sun or towel dry really well then add your unchlorinated water

well in case of fish the water needs to be chlorine free so fresh water

to be honest you can fill a talk with tap water, put the turtle in and it will do just fine, but it would be better for the turtle if you dumped in water conditioner, u can buy it at any pet store, and it will remove all the things from the water that the turtle doesnt want...
