My dad used to listen Deeep Purple when he was young , the whole neighbourhood were against our family ...maybe because of my dad's love for rock music I listen rock as well
In 1985, I skipped school with my friend Tony. He had a brand new copy of "Perfect Strangers" in the cassette deck of his AMC Hornet. We drove around all day smoking weed and drinking Wild Irish Rose....Every time I hear this it takes me back. Yeah we got busted but I got a great memory. Long time ago. I haven't seen my buddy in 23 years. If you see this Tony, pass the bottle!!....
This might be the best song ever written. Deep Purple is one of those bands that has lived a thousand rock n roll life times long before the internet came along - heck - even long before MTV came along. This video was made during a reunion 20 years before the idea of a reunion became a tired cliche
Man Deep Purple kicked ass on this album. Gillan and Blackmore were a great duo. But i find it sad that people like posthuman need drugs to enjoy music like this. This is fucking rock and roll my friends.
You must be crazy to confuse the music of Deep Purple with the music of Zeppelin cashmere! Only if the beat of drums that the rest has nothing to do! I think you are musically "retarded" to make such a comparison! Vai is masturbating her asshole that you must have sperm in the head instead of brain!
In my opinion, Deep Purple's "Perfect Strangers" is their last best album! I still get a buzz listening to the LP today, even better when you're buzzed on Mary Jane! Viva Deep Purple! & viva my gal, Mary Jane! 2 things sweet Mother-Earth has given to us to celebrate with! Rock n' Roll!
She's butchering the history of FreeMasonry within the Antient and Moderns branches that includes the House of Windsor [German by heritage who later became King George] and it's timeline in medieval to modern European History.

It all starts in the simple idea or argument of Newton's space and time, that this simple "knocking", as described is someone justified in the rate of speed, upon your (perfect metal of titanium) backdoor. ;-)
I read an interview with Ritchie, when asked if the Blackmore's Night audience ever request his old stuff, he says he will play a crowd favorite or two. He says his favorite songs from the old days (both Rainbow and DP) were "Gates Of Babylon," "Child In Time" and this one, "Perfect Strangers." I would throw in "Burn," "Highway Star" and "Stargazer"!
Moped- Are you trying to be funny? Gillan wasn't a good vocalist to begin with?
OK.
ATTENTION If you listen to Britney or Miley in your normal life you should NEVER comment on REAL talent. Seriously, I think it is time for you to check into rehab- get clean and sober before you do some real damage to yourself.

This is definitely one of DEEP PURPLE's top 3 BEST ALBUMS of ALL TIME.Every song is GREAT !!! Yes 25 years..!! My Renault 5, my right foot in the car's carpet, a smelly cigarette, and this song as louder as possible to cover the noise of the engine....Great moments..:-)
WOW, incredible audio quality! Really does the song justice. Very cool video, this was the first "comeback" video they made, showing the guys re-introducing themselves after a lot of years (and bitterness and heartache away) and just hanging out, making some music, playing some football and having fun. Which, I think, is the point of it all in this life. (Ok, maybe not the football for me anymore, hehehe!!)
i fucking love Blackmore , Gillan , Glover , Lord , PAICE , best band ever , (i'm not gay...) can't wait when they gonna come to Montreal.... fuck have to wait to summer , even if they gonna come to TORONTO , I WILL GO THERE , FAVORITE GROUPE
Don't all shout at me, 'cause I'm a massive DP fan, but whenever I hear this it makes me think that they all sat round listening to Physical Graffitti and said "Sod it, let's do our own Kashmir"
You're right, it's no bad thing, but I've loved Purple and Zep since 1970 and this is no rip off!! Great to see comments from fans of real music. Peace to you all X

A few years ago I got to see DP for free. I wouldn't have bothered, but Dream Theater was on the ticket and Steve Morse was on guitar. I never thought much about DP. They just always seemed like something high schoolers listened to when getting stoned.

You are so right Max. I'm 40 years old and the music I grew up with in the 70's and 80's blows away the Britney Spears crap we hear today. Back then it was about quality talented musicians who actually WROTE THEIR OWN MUSIC and played their own instruments. I think of bands like the Eagles for example, and become saddened as to how music has digressed over the years. Today its about a stage show and glitter with stupid dance routines and the selling of sexuality over substance.
This song should be in the top 100 best rocks songs of all time. It is haunting and melodic and a musical masterpiece. It is timeless. (Roman and James, we're due for beers soon boys!). Rob.
What an awesome song! Isn't it funny that the various members look like some other famous musician? Keyboardist could pass for John Bonham, Guitar Player could pass for Phil Collins, Ritchie Blackmore kinda looks a little bit like Jimmy Page and the drummer's appearance is similar to that of John Lennon's. Weird eh? Still an awesome rock band!!
It's a bitch gettn old but it is cool to remember when this awesome album came out.I was a sophmore in high school.Deep Purple was already one of my favorite bands but 1981 - around 1991 were some really good years for metal and hard rock!
This album is one of the all time best. It is great from start to finish. Not responsible is an awesome tune!!! as well as this one. Blackmore's guitar playing is top honor on this album.

Wow! Thanks for putting it.
I love this song ever since I heard it for the first time back in 1984. Isn't it funny how time flies when you're having fun.
"Can you remember remember my name
As I flow through your life..."
Simply great.

This album is one of the all time best. It is great from start to finish. Not responsible is an awesome tune!!! as well as this one. Blackmore's guitar playing is top honor on this album.
