  • Satan is not fictional character . ... and never be a satan follower..... until you lived you can be saved. but when you die... you will burn in hell.

    again its not too late.

  • i BELIEVE Satan was actually real not in that interpretation but, i believe it was strictly an Alien Extraterritorial that was bad

  • where can i download john miltons paradise lost movie plss help....?

  • miltonsdemons.comli.com

  • I find Milton boring. Mrs. Milton found him boring too. He's a little bit long-winded, he doesn't translate very well into our generation, and his jokes are terrible....But that doesn't relieve you of your responsibility for this material! Listen, I'm not joking. This is my job!

  • Its easy to relate to Satan because we all share the same characteristics. Pride, jealously, hate, lust, vanity. Im not proud of it but it's true.

  • Of that passage, I like more the idea that the mind can make a hell of heaven or a heaven of hell. What if you get to heaven and you don't like it? They never talk about that in church.

  • This man who is reciting the epoch poem does a horrible job.

  • he even made it sound like he was trying to rescue his followers.

  • Actually those are all good points in the analysis of the poem. And one of the chief criticisms of the poem AND Milton by scholars over the past centuries is that he made Satan into a very sympathetic character. But the poem is still considered by most scholars as the greatest production of the English language.

  • you know im not sure i like paradise lost. he makes satan and the fallen angels sound kind of...i don't know...reasonable. and wronged, almost. as if they were almost some mass of grown but mistaken children who were thrown down into undue suffering. i mean yes it portrays evil, but it doesn't portray it as it is-wicked and foul. certainly makes satan more full of normal feeling than he is.

  • @mikese93 Who's to say that isn't how it really is though? That is what is so neat about this is it makes you take a different prespective on a subject that otherwise is so thorougly black and white. God is Good and Satan is Evil. But can it really be that simple?

  • @LelandSelene well unless God is responsible for this irritating screw job that people call earth, yes.

  • we didnt make any mistakes we have nuclear power not a 1 of us is that clever we have just been very good sheep baaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • this is not much but it is not less either... you might think it's in the middle but it's not..... it's the anti matter we rely on.... and we all know anti matter is only something when it colides with matter....

    Bring it on....!

  • There is a new web-site devoted to Lindall's Paradise Lost. Type in a search for:

"google sites terrance lindall's paradise lost"

  • [God, saddened by the mistakes of mankind]

    looking down form ethereal skies

    silent crystalline tears I cry

for all will say their last goodbye to paradise

  • [Adam or Eve after eating fruit; stranger in this land because they've been ousted from Eden, questioning why they ate the fruit]

    in the cold misty morning

    gleaming rays awake the dawn

here I stand, a stranger in this land

    does your conscience betray you?

falling from grace, feel the sun on my face

    does desire still hold true?

  • YES!

  • @demianslab I'm pretty sure I know a lot of christians that don't kill themselves, and won't. Suicide is a form of weakness, therefore christians have stronger enduring will.

  • Good Reading and Video

    Thanks!

  • Yeah, you can be wise and evil at the same time Keruaran.

Adolf Hitler was one of the most engineering minds, but he was a sick bastard, still he was wise in an evil way.

  • if you make this into a movie it better be accurate, even though its Satans story, as I have told you its whats missing from the Bible in reference to the war in heaven due to greed. Dont offend Providence-Empryrean orbs within orbs. I John 4:16 GOD is love.

  • god didn't create man. man created god.

  • Dude, be real now honestly. God Is and only He is Holy.

  • u watch cowboy bebop? there is an awesome episode dealingn what that principle

  • You really aren't very intelligent, philosophically anyway.

  • He does a nice reading. Knows where to enunciate vowels and emphasize other key word where it is needed. (and it does not sound like ego before story.) Guess he knows what he's talking about :]

  • very nice myth

  • God is evil .. IT placed the fruit and created woman to consume the fruit with the sole reason of punishing man ,

IT knew it would happen ,IT knows all, IT was there when it happened ITS every where, why create it just to take it away... Pure Evil

  • God it's beyond any subjective concept of Good and Evil... Thoose are mere human concepts... The mortal mind cannot grasp God's nature... There is only He's Will

  • @mikeyobie123 God isn't evil. He didn't force Adam and Eve to take the fruit, or Satan to rebel. He gave his creations free will. They chose to consume the fruit, and God even took pity on them when they did so. How is that evil?

  • awsome! thanks for posting... this is my introduction to Paradise Lost. I'll have to get the books... or maybe an audio book :D

  • this is an awesome fairytale i think :)

  • poem :)

  • Satan is possibly the most interesting, complex fictional character ever invented by man.

  • Man, I hope you're joking.

  • @holtaprid You think so? Look into your

intellectualized egoistic mind, you will find

Satan, not invented by man, but rather

man's mind, he is ultimately you!

    Good luck.

  • @holtaprid invented by Milton . He's not even really in the Bible, is he?

  • @holtaprid it appears so because it wasn't invented by man

  • I love this book. I often wondered as a child what would lead to Satan rebelling against God, I now understand Satans relationship with God, his love for him and his feeling of abandonment when God chose to make us. Look at in the way of lovers.. betrayal, confusion, anger. You see it all the time. A jilted lover can easily be turned evil. Beautiful book

  • No, Lucifer was destroyed by pride! He thinks he is more powerful than God EVEN AFTER HE LOST THE WAR IN HEAVEN! It is pride that consumed him. And like he said "Better to reign in Hell, then to serve in Heaven"!

  • He has a point.

  • not qutie true, satan knows that God is stronger and after a discussionwith his demons of how to attack heaven they all finally realize that they cannot win and that the best thing to do is to destroy God's new "pets" aka humans.

  • enslave

  • "long and hard is the road that leads out of hell and into the light"

  • I didn`t hear a word of that !

  • A sustainable lie within good and evil this universe persists...

  • "Better To Reign In Hell .. Than Serve In Heaven" <-- my favorite part

  • Me too, about sums up the best parts of the book - the fruits of Satan's hopeless pride.

  • above all the most famous....

  • @PullusPardus Only a very egoistic person would

want to rule in Hell, you are aggrandizing your

great fault. Don't worry, you are not alone,

it's a human problem that touches us all today.

  • @fntime i'm not taking it literally , just as a metaphor.

  • @PullusPardus it's a metaphor for a person who is willing to lose all human qualities and hurt the world because he is always right and everyone else is always wrong. I'm from NYC, the whole town would rather rule in hell or exchange their soul for 7 years of rule. Mafia leaders are a perfect example or liberals like Polisi, they don't know when to leave, they don't care about anyone else, and they are going to do it their way, whether it causes problems or not!
  • @fntime i use it as a metaphor for something else.

  • you wanna read some heavy dope, read this book instead of a magazine.

  • In the beginning how the Heavens and Earth Rose out of Chaos; or if Sion hill Delight... dont have that one?

  • Great.

Never mind about the accent or timbre, reading was fine. Heartfelt and didn't try to do too much. It let the words speak for themselves in unadorned nobility.

    Bravo.

  • Good choice of sections, but i think it needs a deeper accent to suit the subject matter.

  • sounds a bit weird in the new york accent...like walt whitman doing larry olivier

  • not light but rather darkness visible :'-)

  • greatstuff

  • yea

  • yea

  • yea

  • Some of my favorite selections from Paradise Lost.
