hey steflotti105 yeah the EJ207 is a stronger engine but i think it comes down to taste, i prefer the 2.5 since it gives off better low end which perfect for picking up at the exit of the corner, i also think its nicer to drive

its tuned.... and makes all the power at high revs... in a stock you dont even need to redline one, because max power band is below it about 1000rpm

you're right a b6 s4...Such a pos! Scoobies are more prone to break when modified. Its the motor...EJ25 is it? worthless USDM "feature". The 2.0 is much more reliable and better performing block when implemented with non-ebay crap

the EJ207 can rev higher but the only reason they still use it in the STI is due to rally homoginization rules. The Rundance STI and the HKS record setting STI both use the EJ257,by simply throwing forged pistons in it people are easily putting out 500hp+ . Stock, the pistons are the weak link hypernumeric cast not forged, rods and crank are.
