I can't say what is better between the highly technical and awesome music and the lyrics... Chuck was a genius. Death are the best band ever, either in Death Metal or in metal in general. RIP Chuck...

gene hoglan was good but has no way near the skill of richard christy. christy is alot more technical of a drummer and adds alot more of different sounds. he is just as great live as he is on the studio versions.

@MetalxXxMayhem nah, counterstrike is popular because the graphics are shyte and the gameplay is simple as fuck. hacks running rampant and retarded game types like "scouts knives" (where you fly around with a sniper rifle and a knife) make it the most unplayable pile of shit i've ever seen. it's popular because 12 year olds don't know what fun is. you want a real first person shooter that takes SKILL, go play UT3, or alternatively, UT2k4.

yup, except that At the Gates doesn't belong in that list with Nu Flames and Sonic Syndicate, AND the old In Flames is also something to give respect to.
Btw. now that I listen to Death after a long time, it sounds much like a slower Nile (or maybe it'd be more correct to say Nile sounds like faster Death.. :p )
