  • @JohnHalleger whe need more Christians like you willing to stand up

  • @jprl10 There's plenty of Christians willing to stand up and fight Reason. Guess what? Reason's going to win. :)

  • Ok, lets see what he really knows. The title of this video tells us proving the bible wrong,When in fact all he did was tell us he didnt really know the meaning of parable. The word house in the bible does not really mean structure. And secondly you have a lack of research this guy thinks not to know but to discredit using bleach as an example would never hold up.The house is unbelievers, the walls and are legs and body, the foundation is belief in god,not even close to discredit.lack of brains!!!!

  • yeahhh he would have to be an atheist too. Couldn't just be a normal person, then i would at least give him a chance, but whatever.

  • @ohthethings atheists aren't normal people? Give who a chance?

  • @ohthethings I'm a christian, but I think that's kind of harsh to call Atheists "unnormal" I used to be an atheist

  • @Papanda1995 Yeah that was my fault when i said a "normal person" i meant some who wasn't linked to any particular faith. I don't mean to offend anyone.

  • @ohthethings It's ok, no problem. I'm Sorry, I get defensive really easy when someone bashes on atheists, partly because I don't like people saying basically that when I was an atheist I was a freak of nature, an awful person, or a bad person. I didn't really do anything awful at the time, I just didn't believe in God

  • @ohthethings I consider atheists to be normal (i.e. rational) people. It's the people who believe in fairy tales who I think are a little odd.

  • @alvagoldbook2 Wait, so you believe this complex, intricate universe / life popped into existence from nothing? Who has the silly outlook here....

  • @zcaz23 have you ever read anything about quantum physics and the multiverse??

  • @zcaz23 Why do you think it would have to be popped into existence to begin with?

  • @alvagoldbook2 Because science tells us so... aka, the big bang................

  • @zcaz23 that tells us the origin of the universe as we know it. It doesn't tell us the origin of the big bang itself. I don't think the universe was created. It just exists. It will always exist. And eventually, the forces of gravity will again compress the universe down into a tiny ball and there will be another big bang. An endless cycle, never having been created, and never ending.

  • @alvagoldbook2 Never being created? It's too much for my little brain to imagine and believe this cycle has always been around. It's confusing to even think about how outer space came to be there. How did this all happen?! Makes no sense. This world is so complex it's so confusing to think about how it came to be. A big bang in outer space they say, where did outer space come from!? Everything about this topic questions my logic on time and space. Who? What? When? WHY!? lol

  • you have earth bound energy lol, eat more vegtables and dont have sex for a year, and u will figure it out, but dont take my word, for, it... A reading rainbow.

  • dont fight whats in your heart brother. God loves you

  • Christian "god" is an imagination of a low IQ-mind. He seems perfectly as strong and intelligent as his followers. His know-how fits exactly the narrow minds of his adherents. WOW, what a god ;)

  • i agree with you that the Bible is not the word of God.

  • If the Bible is false, why has NO ONE rebuilt Babylon???

Isaiah 13:20 and Jeremiah 51:37 stated it would be desolate long ago!

    Please..............prove me wrong!

  • @franklinjonesii You could say the same thing about any destroyed city. There's plenty of interest in Pompeii, but it hasn't been rebuilt either. Generally, destroyed cities aren't rebuilt, certainly not very often millenia ago when resources are harder to come by. However, Babylon was rebuilt, it's just called Al-Hillah today. I'm guessing that once Baghdad was built in the 8th century, it made more sense to trade goods there then in the rubble of Babylon.

  • we could build it if we wanted to...

  • suposably humans are all perfect to god then why is there war and genicide the bible is more of a peace weapon bullshit like that kind of pisses me off cuz people that argue with me say im wrong and im going to hell and if hells is real then here the fuck i come

  • @Pkmuffin I totally agree with you. I do believe that there are many pieces of evidence that show the bible as true and without god what are we? Animals? No morality. Only Self. Well we arnt so I think that's pretty straightforward but and alot of times I hear " well if there is a god why didn't he leave like astrological messages in the bible?" and the answer is obvious. The bible is not an encyclopedia, it's a collection of stories showing how man should follow god.

  • @TheyAreHere2 1) what part of the bible is true. Prove this. 2) If you don't understand the BIOLOGICAL origins of morality, then I suggest you study psychology. Until then, you can read my comments to "tawnabawna" in my video "Why I'm Pro Abortion". 3) The bible and encyclopedias certainly are different. Encyclopedias have FACTS in them. But if you think it's true, then how do you think Noah got all the species of termites on the arc?

  • @alvagoldbook2 Well lets go to a place where a flood has ruined an area. After the water drains we see bugs in mud, science explains this.An insect breaths through their skin not mouth they can survive for long periods of time in mud years.Evolution on the other hand says we all have a common ancestor, well if this is true why cant i mate a termite and a bumble bee? If i could i would like to mate a monkey and a human but the reality is we cant. misinformed fool look at yourself.

  • @alvagoldbook2 Proverbs 30:33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife. i just proved it

  • @JohnHolleger you just proved what, exactly?

  • @JohnHolleger

The bible is one big book of propaganda & elitist revisionism to suit their agenda.

Using your book of fairy tales proves nothing.

  • @USRecoveryV2Kx your only fooling yourself. when you die and you stand beofore the Lord God Almighty, you wont have any excuses

  • @JohnHolleger

For not believing in a book of elitist agenda used to corral & indoctrinate the sheeple as they're lead to slaughter? I'd rather die on my feet & stand before God with the pride of standing up for what I believed in rather than kneel in shame at following something I honestly had no faith in, but lied to myself & to God by following.

At that point, I won't need excuses because I told the truth & still lived my life out as a good person.

  • @USRecoveryV2Kx your right. you wont need excuses, because you wont have any. but what is a "good" person? youve told lies, stolen something, and even hated someone (which is the same as murder) at some point in your life. how can you call yourself good? nobodies good. Romans 3:23 "for ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God." thats include EVERYONE. Gd cant let a lying, stealing murderer into heaven. the only way He can is if that sin that he/she has committed is paid for (Jesus)

  • @JohnHolleger

No one is perfect & to attempt defining perfection is Utopian at best. For you to pass judgment on the ideals I live by is typical of you hypocrites of the church. While you sit back & condemn others to Hell for not believing in your iron-fisted prophet-turned-God, you break every commandment on a daily basis.

Before you have ANY right to condemn me, you need to sweep off your own porch of mistakes & sinning.

Your hypocritical Christian bullshit is hereby dismissed.

  • @JohnHolleger Hating someone is not the same thing as murder. It's not even close. For instance, I hate Pat Robertson and the Pope. Guess what? They're still alive. If a murderer can't be allowed in heaven, then is God allowed in there? After all, he murdered a shit ton of people during that flood.

  • @alvagoldbook2 it is the same. and God doesnt murder. He's perfect. and when we destroyed the world is because men's thought were continually evil; it was a punishment for the sin.

  • i believe in logic and christianity is the only logic way. the only logic way.

yes Occam's Razor is used for simplicity and not complicating things. He died a couple years after the pope charged him with heresy. Occam was also not the first to come up with his little, insignificant idea of the "razor." so what makes him so important to you?

  • @pkmuffun The person isn't important. The principle is. Is it more likely that "the only evidence anyone can have of God's existence is faith, and having real evidence would defeat the purpose of our every existence", or is it more likely that God doesn't exist.

  • this guy is funny and amuses me so much.

first off he is reading from a catholic version..that right there is hilarious.

and he is, obviously, missing the point in the bible story he is reading from.

leprosy on a house is a metaphor, and mildew on the walls...really?

this guy is mistaken to such an extent i have to laugh.

maybe he and all you people trying to prove that this perfect book is wrong should actually understand what the bible is even talking about. then you can speculate.

  • @pkmuffun 1) does the St. James bible, or any other version present the message of this passage any differently? 2) For a metaphor there seems to be a lot of rather exact instructions. Furthermore, in other sections of the bible, other metaphors are told, but it informs the read a metaphor is exactly what it is (for instance, Jesus' parables) 3) If a leprosy infection of a house is NOT mildew, then WHAT IS IT?) to be continued....

  • @alvagoldbook2 find another version and find out yourself. every version the words are extremely varied, they do give the same message, yes, but the way it is written is different. and no you are wrong there again. the bible doesnt tell you what MOST metaphors of the bible are. you have to figure it out. for example, the ENTIRE book of revelation and most of Daniel are nothing but metaphors, and thats all it is. prophecy in metaphors......

  • @pkmuffun You are the claimant. If you're going to say that this passage means something different in different versions of the book, then it's your responsibility to prove your point, not mine.

  • @alvagoldbook2 thats not my responsibility whatsoever. you want answers, i am simply giving you the best source for this knowledge

  • @pkmuffun If the claimant refuses to prove his claim, then that is nothing more than acknowledging that he is wrong.

  • @alvagoldbook2 actually i answered so many of your questions, answering them all in detail. its not my fault you choose to look at it at a different point of view. you are just telling me i am wrong because i choose to stop answering your questions and referring you to my source. its called a biased point of view made by you

  • @pkmuffun A point of view is a point of view. But words have meaning. If you are going to claim that this particular passage has a different meaning in different versions of the bible, then you as the claimant has the responsibility to state which version of the bible where this passage is different, and how it is different. Otherwise, the only honest thing to do is to withdraw your claim. Your refusal to do so is simply an admission that your claim holds no water.

  • @alvagoldbook2 okay so nothing i told you held any "water." hmm good luck with that.

i am simply going to state that this conversation is going no where because both sides are too stubborn to believe the other. the end. i tried talking to a glass that wasn't full, and that glass spat out at me. whatever.

hope you find God someday. i really do. but this conversation is going no where and i have better things to do, like enlighten people who aren't as narrow-minded.

    God bless, sir

  • @pkmuffun I don't see how asking to prove a claim is spitting at you. I hope you find reason one day.

  • @alvagoldbook2 oh and another thing, this book has not one time, mentioned the name, Christ. not once. it is a book to be interpreted through the use of allegories to reveal Christ. If Leviticus is the only book you have read out of the bible, you will misinterpret the book's original historical and cultural meaings

  • @pkmuffun Yes, Leviticus is part of the Old Testament. How is that even remotely relevant? If it is a book of allegories to "reveal" Christ, then how does the instructions on the proper way to sacrifice a bird (Lev 1:15) "the priest shall snap its head loose and squeeze out its blood" reveal Christ?

  • @alvagoldbook2 you arent understand what i am saying, everything is going over your head. you give me a scripture that talks about sacrifice. the book is in the old testament, which means, people still had to make sacrifices to God, to become pure again. thats why Jesus came down in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to give up his pure life, so people dont have to do sacrifice to be forgiven

  • @pkmuffun Over my head? What do you mean by "unpure"? How does animal sacrifice cure impurities? Leviticus 4:1-3 instructs that an unblemished bull needs to be sacrificed for accidental sins. With all the animal sacrifice going on, how many people do you think died from the "sin" of menstruation alone?

  • @alvagoldbook2 you really want to know the answers the those questions? idid too when i was new with Christ. wanna know how i got those answers? i read the bible. enough said.

i have talked enough about this subject, now its time for you to get in the word and start answering questions yourself. i have a lot of answers, and i dont know all of them. i am not perfect, just like you. but talking from one brother to the next, its good to extend your verizons and read this whole book.

  • @pkmuffun Historically, the book of Leviticus predated Christ's supposed existence by a few millenia. Which actually further proves my point. To think that something written some 4,000 years ago by a semi-barbarous ancestry should have any bearing on the moral values of today should be considered absurd on it's face.

  • @alvagoldbook2 semi-barbarous...let me ask you something...are we any different today?

moses, sampson, even God killed people. so you could call them all barbarians like society today.and in this book here, they made sacrifices to be forgiven and made pure. thats a moral value. you are missing the whole point.

  • @pkmuffun Actually, I was quoting Thomas Jefferson by using the term "semi-barbarous". Yes, we are different today. How are we different? Well, last I checked Clorox doesn't sell bottles of bird blood at the grocery store.

Why was animal sacrifice necessary to be forgiven? Wouldn't a perfect deity create something that was pure? Or does such a deity prefer shoddy work? How is it a moral value to kill an animal to cure an impurity that no one has yet to prove even exists?

  • @alvagoldbook2 well if read as much into the government as i do i can tell you alot of what they do isnt, lets say, angelic. clorox doesnt sell bottles of bird blood but everything we purchase is chipped and or manipulated in such a barbaric way its scary.

because in the bible it says "for the cause of sin is death." for example adam and eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and god told them if they did they would die. because the only way to be forgiven back then was death

  • @pkmuffun So the punishment for knowledge back then was death?

  • Respond to this video... the punishment for that knowledge was death and the cause of their sin was death, but they died in a way, and then felt pain through their lives and eventually died at an old age

  • @alvagoldbook2 and God did create something that was pure. Earth was and still is pure, the oceans and animals, pure, and humans WERE pure. this is all a test of faith. and please explain that last question. i dont understand what it is you are asking. impurity that no one can prove exists?

  • @pkmuffun If everyone on the earth is pure, and humans were pure, how would it even be possible for them to become impure? It is your assertion that these notions of purity and impurity exists. What evidence do you have that it does?

  • @alvagoldbook2 one name. satan.

  • @pkmuffun what evidence do you have that Satan exists?

  • @alvagoldbook2 if i had evidence of Satan, evidence that didnt rely on faith at all, then i would have evidence of God which would defeat the entire purpose of this test here on earth. people who only search for reasoning and evidence will be lost and continually be lost if they won't widen their perspectives.

i will answer one more question. shoot

  • @pkmuffun So you're saying that the only evidence you have of Satan or God's existence is your own faith. And having real evidence would defeat the purpose of our test on earth, in other words, our every existence. So in other words, the meaning of life is to believe in things that you have zero evidence for.

Here's my last question. Are you familiar with the principle of Occam's Razor?

  • @alvagoldbook2 evidence is one thing, but logic is another. God is the ONLY logical answer, and i feel Him through me. i Know that what i believe in is right. I feel His grace flow through my body and i feel His love. i don't feel alone or abandonded. You would probably tell me, "well that;s all in your head." No, this isn't.

the principle as in don't complicate things? if not, then please..enlighten me =)

  • @alvagoldbook2 you dont have to believe in it, just read it and give it a try. whats the worst that could happen?

you want questions answered, and the bible has all the answers. just give it a shot, brother. its good for you anways

  • @pkmuffun I keep reading it, and keep getting more confused. For instance, I keep wondering, if Noah brought 2 of every kind of animal on his ark, would that have included termites?

  • @alvagoldbook2 yes it includes all bugs, insects, arachnids, everything we have now, including dogs, cats, roosters, rhinos, giraffes, etc. 30 cubits across is very big and is meant to carry all kinds.

sorry about the long reply, had to get some groceries

  • @pkmuffun 4) You accuse me of (and you assume that) I haven't read the bible in context. I have read the entire book of Leviticus several times (it's not very long, most can read it in one sitting), and there is nothing here that's out of context. That alone should be self evident given that I read such a LONG passage.

Oh, by the way...this "perfect" book of Leviticus also informs you that bats are "birds" and that you shouldn't eat pigs or crabs, but you should eat horses and crickets.

  • @alvagoldbook2 that should be self evident because you read the whole book of leviticus several times? ha wow 27 whole chapters. i read the whole bible 6-7 times, i am on two different devotional plans for every day. i think, just think, that i have much more knowledge than you do about the bible and God's word. and the book of leviticus....if you have read it that many times, isnt a book to tell people these days how to live. in fact, it focuses on the life and the worship of ancient israel

  • The bible's wrong.. flat out

  • Okay for one your talking about chirstians and you dare say your going to read a calthic bible to prove us christians wrong?? fuck tard do reasrceah before saying it's wrong because there two different bibles fucker and for two are you talking old or new testament because animals were used as sacrfice to god for sins or for healing before he sent his only son to earth as the last scarfice for all our sins! and yes back then there was no clean way to get rid of MOLD! and now we do!! Message me

  • @HatchetRyda112 you Christians get awfully bent out of shape over a little nomenclature. Funny how whenever something embarrassing is pointed out in the Old Testament, Christians will use the "that no longer applies, because of Jesus" excuse. And yet, they're the first one to site the the very same book, Leviticus, in the Old Testament to say that homosexuality is the most horrid thing on the planet. You know what that's called? Hypocrisy.

  • @alvagoldbook2 I never said anything about gays once, i support gays and yes jesus was sent to earth to be the LAST SACRFICE!!!!!!!!!!! thats why we do not sacrfice animals no more! and once again read a christian bible not a cathlic bible....

    I am a christian! btw

  • @HatchetRyda112 it's the same bloody book!

  • dfdf

  • @GSLucas12345 wow sry about the random letters i have xp or vista something thats making it so i cant send messages so i typed in random stuff a few times to see if it would work and know its like showing up my b sry if I confused you

  • @GSLucas12345 wow sry about the random letters i have xp or vista something thats making it so i cant send messages so i typed in random stuff a few times to see if it would work and know its like showing up my b sry if I confused you and also it was meant to be for the video not to you reaper sry

  • hahahahahaha haha what God spoke through the disciples it is the inspired word of God the people in the house have the disease this might the worste attempt to disprove christianity you cant understand common english so you put it of on christianity also jesus spoke in parables and metahpors meaning he said things to prove or show a point its not meant to be taken literally most 5 year olds in sunday school know that

  • FUCK THA POLICE whoops wrong video

  • @KRS1LEGEND lol

  • @KRS1LEGEND lolololz

  • well if you went to church as you were you you woild know but as they say walk by faith not by sight i know you dont get it but wait till you die and you might find out whats fact from fiction

  • @reaper83001 I've wasted my time in a church before. What is "faith"? Believing in something you have no evidence for? When we both die we'll both go to the exact same place where we were before we were born. THE VOID. Non-existence. So why are you wasting your time believing in shit that does not exist?

You know, science has found distant galaxies that couldn't have been imagined just a few hundred years ago. If heaven or hell exists, then WHERE IS IT?

  • @alvagoldbook2 like i said wait till you die but dont kill yourself

  • @reaper83001 so, if the only way of knowing that such things really exist is to die, and since no one has ever been proven to come back from the grave, then how do you know such a place exists since you're not dead?

  • @alvagoldbook2 in just saying since your putting other peoples hopes down and and dont know if your right or wrong just wait till you die. but on the other hand people who belevie in God get special thing that people who dont belevie cant see in not trying to force the bible on you but hey its your decision

  • @reaper83001 If you HOPE there's an afterlife, that's something else. I hope that there's a way to become immortal. However, it's IRRATIONAL to think either is in the cards. People who don't believe have something over people who do believe. They can view the world with reason and logic. We also know that we're absurdly lucky to exist at all, and therefore fully enjoy the time we have instead of wasting it on a cloud spook that does not exist.

  • ddf

  • @GSLucas12345 dfdf?

  • @reaper83001 dfdf

  • why waste so much time talking about something you dont belive can anyone see the stupidity ??????

  • Are you looking in the new testiment? The remade one? The one that i believe shold have never been made?

  • So if I heard correctly if we get mildew, or "leprosey" infections we have to slaughter birds and clean our houses with their blood... im so glad the bible makes sense! WTF!!! lets just rename it "Book of Contradictions"

  • @r4ch3l012 I'd prefer the Book of Genocide. :D

  • I hate to burst your bubble Alva, but youre wrong about the bird blood. I work in a heavy Jewish part of town, when we found mold in our store. A Rabbi was in our store and noticed the mold and perform this exact ritual. Believe it or not, it worked. The only thing that didnt work is that the bird didnt fly away. But I think its because I work at KFC

  • hyssop is a kind of herb lol

  • the bible makes no sense. if jesus is truly the son of god i think marry would be gods wife.. god doesnt have a wife he can just make people. and if he is the son of god why do u guys call him god? think about santa. rearrange the last 3 letters of SANTA. jesus birthday isnt the 25th. nobody knows when. the bible doesnt mention it. no book does. how come in the paintings when hes born its not snowing? jesus isnt the creator. god is. so how come hes god to u guys. or is the the son of god? wat?

  • Uhh, you do know that you don't have to marry a woman to impregnate her, right? Mary wouldn't have to be "God's wife", as if once God married her a chastity belt that even he couldn't unlock fell from her loins, allowing him access to her cave of wonders.

I'm not vouching for Christianity, or religion in general. I'm just doing my human duty of trying to disperse ignorance, and it's pretty heavy on this page. And of course the Bible doesn't make logical sense, it's a religion document.

  • @TheOmegaParadigm in today's world when a guys' wife gets pregnant and they haven't had sex yet it's called "cheating". in other words jesus' mom was a whore.

  • @aurash91 They try to denounce that she was "inseminated", by simply having her become pregnant magically, 'cause God can do that, apparently. Also, is that day and age, she would likely have been stoned to death for being pregnant without having Joseph be the contributor. Those time didn't exactly work in the favor of the female.

  • Comment removed

  • good arguement

  • so exactly how did u prove the Bible wrong...alva?

  • Um....do you think you can get rid of mildew with bird's blood?

  • idk...have u tried it? cause im pretty sure they didnt have clorox back then.

  • I like my bathroom free of bird blood. By all means, if you think this innane ritual works, try it under controlled conditions, and report your findings.

  • @yoursexygrandma why waste so much time talking about something you dont belive can anyone see the stupidity ??????

  • @yoursexygrandma hes not a beleiver so thats hes fault

  • @reaper83001 A believer in the great all seeing spook in the sky. No, I'm not. Why do you believe in something you have no evidence for?

  • ""that try to shove their religion down your throat". Hey Alva, is that kind of like you trying to shove "Paracon economy" (Socialism) down everyone`s throat? You ALWAYS are so, so angry about what everyone else does. As for me, I dont really care what they do. If it bothers me, I change channels, station, website, or use my 2 feet. You can do/say/think what you want, I just enjoy mocking you. You look like the kid who ate alone at school, the one they put in the trash can head first.

  • I'm sorry you're too inept to understand the very simple concept of externalities. And since you are incapable to having a civil debate, you're blocked.

  • That is so sad - what a 'hater' ... why do you bother wasting your time 'mocking' Alva, is it perhaps because your 'social life' and 'friends' are on-line and you have some sort of delusion regarding the importance of your pontifications? You sound like the runny-nosed, spotty kid who never did their homework was too soft to be a jock - ended up shooting at cars cause they were 'bored'. Uses the words 'whatever' and 'like' in place of punctuation, sound like a red neck bible thumper in denial?

  • I suggest you learn the difference between Judaism and Christianity. The rules for the rabbis set in Leviticus do not apply to Christians.

Also the ritual was the way of showing faith. The method works though, blood is high in iron which kills most forms of plants and fungus.

The types of birds found in that region do not have enough intelligence to be psychologically scarred, if they did then the normal horrors of hunter and prey in the animal kingdom would have already done so.

  • Oh c'mon Jack. You know as well as I do that this is a stupid silly ritual performed by stupid silly people. I seriously doubt bloody water would have worked to kill off mildew. It would probably make it worse, given the moisture content. The iron that in a bird's blood I can't imagine would be any higher than what the walls already had.

If the rules for Leviticus do not apply to Christians, then why do other rules in that book apply, such as homosexual acts or incest?

  • I said the ritual was a way of showing faith.

Iron is highly toxic, just ask the Aztecs. :) If the Hebrews at the time had the technology to produce bleach I'm sure God would have told them to use it. Those actually don't apply either. Of the Old Testament only the Ten Commandments, parables, and prophecies apply to Christians, beyond that its do unto others as you would have done unto you. Which makes me believe that the Christians I know your referring to want to be judged harshly.

  • It was a way of showing faith? Like throwing an apple into the air and claiming it will float to heaven again and again is showing a sign of faith? What was that saying? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is what you call insanity? How many Hebrews do you suppose went homeless over the bird blood deal?

  • Your example is based on the assumption that it wouldn't work. Iron is poisonous when concentrated. I agree that the whole idea sounds silly, but I also understand that they didn't have disinfectants and it did make people aware of a health hazard.

Very few were probably homeless for long, in those days you could build a home more or less where you wanted, and there were also the other members of your tribe and community that would help you rebuild and take you in while it was being done.

  • However, in defense of those people. At the time, God told man to be fruitful and multiply. Incest leads to many deformities and mental disorders, not exactly fruitful (though the incest does get put to the test in the story of Lott and his daughters). And homosexual relationships don't result in offspring, which means they don't multiply.

  • God Bless You Child.
