i have used a 'light' Kwan dao just like that one... and its pretty heavy considering it's the light version...

imagine back in the day with a metal shaft and killing live blade.... that would be damn heavy, but it is a well designed and cruel weapon for sure

Yeah, our style uses a guan dao, but its more powerful. Lower stances etc because our dao weighs 25kg. Its more for building strength and less for engaging cavalry..these days at least

I would not reccomend engaging any enemy if it can be avoided, least of all with a guan dao.

Look up some case histories. The laws protect criminals. This is not news, man.

Did you know that if you killed someone who broke into your home and tried to kill you, you might win the criminal case and get off with justifiable homicide on the grounds of self defense. But that perp's family would almost certainly win the libel/civil case against YOU for taking away their income and you would be sued for that asshole's income.
