  • Can anyone tell me if tread mill is better than elliptical?

  • treadmill is generally for cardio.

    elliptical is for cardio and muscle. if you want to slim work on the eliptical until you feel the burn then take a break. if you want to build muscle, push yourself until you feel like you can't do anymore.

    for cardio, go until you are sweating. make sure to take deep breaths, otherwise you'll raise your blood pressure.

  • @xstarc0rex I know I am a year late, lol. But to get best results power walk everyday. You can do cardio every single day! Stregth training everyother day. When I mean strength training I mean buliding lean muscle mass. Light 5-7-10 lbs weights will work. Ankle weight help too. :)

  • type in "The 20 minute work out" into youtube's search bar. Theres a selection of high intensity aerobics sessions.

  • @gwithadream Again sorry if this is a year late.

    But the have the biggest loser the workout cardio max. If you want to lose weight do maximum results, maitain weight costomize it. it is a 30-50 minute cardio thing. I am doing level one. OMG be prepared to sweat.

    i was wondering if there is any way to loose calve muscles. i have huge calves. and when i excercise my lower body, it seems like my calves are getting bigger and more muscular.

  • I have the same problem. I als like wearing heels, but they make my calves bigger also. I don't think there's anything one can do to prevend that from happening. I try not to be ashamed of my calves anymore. Why be ashamed of muscles?

  • it doesn't look good when i wear heels, i was even thinking about getting a plastic surgery, it's been a huge stress for me. but anyway, i'm glad that i have muscles but not too much.. it's genetic 2! i blame my mom!!!lol

  • Believe me, there's quite a few men out there who absolutely LOVE muscular calves on women. I try to avoid growth by not wearing heels every day, and regular stretching, but the main change is me actually being proud of my calves, in stead of ashamed and I've been getting more positive feedback than negative feedback lately. I think it's OK for anyone to have plastic surgery, but I don't understand how they could do anything about this (technically, I mean).

  • These moves will strengthen and tone the muscles in your legs while lengthening them, and will not cause you to bulk up. Pilates leg circles are also a great move to create leaner looking legs.
