How very odd. I stumbled across his story only tonight, and here he is playing possibly my favourite piece. What's more, it really is up there with the Horowitz interpretation, without merely being a replica of it.

For anyone that would like to see the full documentary in the UK, it is being repeated on Christmas Day 2008 (Channel 4) at 6.15pm.

Alex Stobbs is currently trying to raise money to put on a performance of Bach's Matthew Passion in the Cadogan Hall, London in April 2009. It is hoped that it will raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.
