US steel manufacturers and workers priced themselves out of the market. Its capitalism you red necks. If you want to talk about government subsidies, go look at the Corn farmers? If you want to talk about US currency manipulation, look up what QE2 does with your tax money? Silly Sheep.
A lot of metal fabricators like myself are noticing that the steel is not as good as it used to be either. Hey the chinese made drywall that had poison in it. They killed 30,000 babies with tainted formula. I sure as hell dont want to be driving over a bridge made of steel from china.
bullshit...china manipulated their currency? it's more like US inflation that is causing the gap. Look at the price of a can of soda and even wages. Everything is sooo expensive and has gone up so fast. Why? US spend more then they can handle and borrow into the future causing huge inflation. Also, FED is printing money like there's no tomorrow...another factor to inflation. why do other country have to raise their currency to meet US's crazy spending and inflation?
@FreeTheTruth1 The massive borrowing your referring to has little impact on inflationary pressures. If you look at inflation over the last 20 years it's been held under control in the U.S. China is a currency manipulator, it's currency is PEGGED to a specific transfer rate with the dollar, by definition it is a greater manipulator than a government that allows it's currency to float on the open market. China's currency WILL rise, most likely by forceful action of the U.S. slashing the dollar.
China is laying plans for world domination. They are destroying all US industries. They have an anti sattelite weapon while the US will not be able to go into space for 5 years after retiring the shuttle.
