I have heard KVN and Geetha Bennet Ramanathan (daughter of legendary Musicologist Prof. Ramanathan) in the past. I was told that K V. Narayanaswami version is readily available. Also is it possible to upload "Alarsharaparithapam" in "Surutti" by Swathi Thirunal? Yesudas sang it in "Swathi Thirunal" movie. But it is an abridged version. I would like the full padam.

I had the privilage of watching the dance performance of Kamala Lakshmanan, Yamini Krishna Moorthy, students of Padma Subramanyam and Chitra Visvesharan in the past, based on this song. Viji Prakash and her talentd daughter Mythili Prakash choreographed this gem of kriti for their students in Los Angeles. I have heard Yesudas singing this krithi in different talams to suit novices as well as experts to dance. Mohanam and Anandabhairavi are the two ragas most suitable for dance. Thanks SRN!!
