Really interesting Sara. As someone who has always struggled with an urge to restrict rather than to binge, I am learning so much that I was unaware of.
hi sara :) many people who care a lot about me (which is why I'll go to them in the first place) seem to have this "i"ll fix it" mentality or feel it's not good enough just to listen... How do you "fix" that? hehe. Seriously, though, at times I feel i'm burdening them w/ my story... ever get that?
I do get that, totally. Unfortunatly all you can do in that situation is try to assure them that you're not nessesarily asking them to fix it and you just need to vent. Some people will always have this "fix it' mentality, thats good if you need that, otherwise I try to steer clear of those kinds of people. It just makes them miserable that they can't fix it, and you miserable because you don't want to make them feel bad.
I am glad you're talking about binges, very few people do so, it's very courageous! It's funny that you binge on potatoes, how come? I like your blanket in the background btw, is that a sun?
Thank you for telling your strategies, I am struggling with overeating for a week now and trying to get better.
lol..I really don't know why I binge on potatoes, I think it's mostly because it's always been a comfort food to me, sort of reminds me of better times with my family.
Good job. It seems that both you and Karen have cats who are trying to upstage you this week. haha

Great video. I know how hard it can be to prevent a binge. And you gave good tips here.

Yes, your cats will always understand. Besides, they probably don't like the music you will put on if that doesn't work!

Great video! You are so honest and your specific examples make it easy to relate to what your experiences are and find solace in confronting our own!
