@Jongray100 I need to agree that is true that Jesse isnt the best clean vocalist , but I'm a singer and you need to approve that how Adam D made the songs and how he mixed the songs made them really hard to sing, and the pitch wich Adam used in the studio versions of the acoustic songs is maybe too high for Jesse.

@juussttee ToG, Seemless, and TESF have helped improve his singing big time and he can still scream. I have a feeling that on their next album, he's going to sound just as good (if not, better) than he did on AOJB.

Howard can sing, but his screams are laughable. I'm glad Jesse is back.

@crazybaseballdude12 Howard's screams are laughable? I find that comment laughable. Howard's screams aren't always perfect, but neither are Jesse's, or any other vocalists for that matter. Howard's the loudest screamer I've ever heard, and when his screams are good, they are fucking good. I love Jesse, he's great, but Howard blows him out of the water. Go listen to the AOJB version of Numbered Days, then look up the World Ablaze live version. Tell me Howard's screams are laughable then.

Yeah, he's definitely improved as a vocalist, but he's simply not at Howard's level. I like BOTH of them. Ask me who's a better lyricist? Jesse, no doubt. But who's the better vocalist? Howard. I'm tired of the Jesse fanboyism. KsE rules no matter who's singing.

@DonTommyVercetti I second that, but seriously, you can't compare a studio version to a (surely overdubbed) live DVD version. Jesse and Howard both struggle in a live situation, but who wouldn't? Screaming and singing in quick change is a true challenge and I don't know ANY singer who'd deliver THAT on stage the same way he delivered it in the recording studio.By the way, I think Howard has the better singing voice, but Jesse's screams sound way sicker than Howard's.

@WeirdSchizo True, the live version would have had a lot of editing done to it. But I've seen a lot of amateur shot live vids of them and Howard sounds just as loud and powerful. Seems to me Jesse's better at holding down his high screams than Howard, but Howard can hold down singing better. Both hold their own on mid pitch screams, though from what I've heard, Howard has more power and is able to scream louder. I know exactly what you mean, though. I'm a vocalist myself.

@WeirdSchizo I personally think Howard's screams sound better live. They're a little too cleaned up on album. He sounds more raw and aggressive live, in my opinion.

@Airman32292 plus Joel's a better guitar player. I've never understood why joel doesn't do any solo's, he usually does badass leads but he should shred it up on some songs in the future

@thnk4urself I dont think joel is better, remember that adam d writes all the riffs for killswitch, even back when he was a drummer he wrote a good amount of them

@Airman32292 not really. They've said that Adam writes the choruses and some verses but Joel writes a lot of verses, breakdowns, and leads. You can kind of tell by style. Joel style is a little more traditional thrash, bluesy, & iron maiden like riffs. Mike D also writes alot of heavy slower riffs. Better writing doesn't always mean better playing , maybe that's why Joel doesn't do solos, he's not as confident with them as adam but Joels playing & ability is better than Adam's IMO

@thnk4urself To each his own, Adam is the lead guitarist and more often than not, not always i realize, but more often than not the lead is tougher than rhythm therefore usually the better player plays lead, again not always but IMO this is one such case

Wow. Adam looks much...diffrent without a tu-tu. I was really hopping Adam would change. Like his cursing. My parents won't see Killswitch live cause of his F words and dirty talk. I hate it... but whatever. I was hopping with Adam being in a Christian enviroment with Jesse that he would change.
