After you start to watch these shows and see some of the inmates you start supporting the death penalty. Some of them just made bad choices and they can fulfill a meaningful life but mentoring at risk kids not to end up where they are but others choose to be dangerous and should be executed.

23 hr Lockdown in Prison might sound harsh but the fact is some inmates can't function in any other type of Prison Environment & need to be there for the Prison's Safety & their safety until they can show they can function in General Population in Prison.

There's an old prison saying that you should do your time & not let it do you & how you spend your time in Prison is completely up to you based on how you spend it.

True but if your ordered to do something that will add more time to their sentence they don't have a choice unless they PC out which you don't want to do that they are in a deep hole. So the result is longer prison sentence and the longer your inside the more chance there is of tagging along another case which leads to strikes and 3 strikes comes quick. Next thing they know there serving life.

If you come clean you get sent to Protective Custody. Its not Lockdown its a part of the Prison for Protective Inmates who are targets for attack & abuse. Its basically General Population but for a smaller group of inmates.

Life is about choices even for inmates they always have options. Its a matter of finding them & selecting the right one. The 3 Strikes thing again life is about choices if they stay clean even with 2 strikes then they don't have to worry about Prison.
