M99 weighs 20-25 lbs. If you can handle the weight while running go ahead but spend time with it and the weight will seem to drop about 5-10 pounds due to your being used to it. I have one and I'd say stick with your mauser or get a ghillie and change up your sniping if you want it that bad. A gym membership helps too since you can start by benching the rifle itself ;D

good idea if you have a shitload of money to spend on a gun then buy an m14 (g&g tokyo marui or anything but a chinese brand) get a 6.01 mm tightbore and get an m150 spring (500 fps!! with.20gs but use .28gs accurate as hell itll shoot about 450 with tthem) and reinforce the internals there is a vid on evike on what you need to upgrade to 500fps it will cost over 100 to upgrade though
