  • what made that sound at the end? were those ants tryina communicate with you or something? o.o

  • シャキッとしろい!!

  • can this be the same as daradara?

  • Not at all. Dara Dara is more like sluggish or laze around. It describes action. Also the sound of pouring liquid. Like sweat pouring off your body.

Funyafunya is a description of something physical -- like limp or flabby.

  • Hey! I was gonna mention to you that Nina used "funya funya" right after you made this video, but you already figured it out. So, yeah, I submit konyaku jelly as a good funya funya candidate.

  • "after working out, my legs are funyafunya..." does that work for you? i'm too lazy to translate it into japanese right now...

  • I'll try: 運動した後で私の脚がふにゃふにゃになってしまいました。

  • Hey man, do you know if they use alot of wheat to make stuff like that? Im gonna study japanese in Japan in about a month, and im allergic to gluten (wheat) And i have heard its quite the challenge for those who cant eat wheat^^

  • Sorry never heard of that! Wheat? I'll ask around, but I would be careful I were you! Don't want to risk life over MOCHI!

  • Yeah its a shitty allergy ^^

  • i thought japanese people eat rice everyday

  • Yeah, but ive heard something about gluten in the soy sauce. Im sure il be fine though

  • I such saw an episode of SUPERNATURAL. The "bad guy" a wheat gluten allergy. Made me think of this comment.

  • @Gimmeaflakeman such a good show. The finale was pretty good :)

  • *chuckle* 5 star for the frozen face!! ^_^ great lesson! [x]

  • As the Big Bad wolk said. Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin.

Don't know why I thought of that - it just came to my mind.

  • there are a lot of things i miss about japan, but one of the biggest has gotta be mochi

  • oishisou! is better

    美味しそう!

  • チン子はふにゃふにゃです。ww

  • ohhh you are just as terriblee. ha

  • jealous

  • I love that kind of mochi. I only ever get it if some teacher at my school brings some back as omiage.

Is that Maggie's wheezing voice at the end?

  • Yeah, Maggie is jealous of the computer.

  • I sometimes think Nina is jealous of the Nina in the computer I spend so much time editing. She will imitate what she said in a video to get me to pay attention to the "REAL" Nina.

Do you hold Maggie in your lap while you edit vids sometimes?

  • Penis? Are you going to "erase" this? :p

  • Yep. When I remember to and am signed into the correct account.

  • FIGHT THE POWER! xD

  • Thanks Victor!! I'll try to come up with a sentence its just I find that hard because the set out is SOV and I get the particles wrong (wa, ga, ni, no ect...)

  • I expected it to be writte as ふんやふんや

  • I temporarily hate you for eating that mochi in this vid...it was really mean :(

  • At first I tought it was a tissue. I got kinda creeped out when you eat it. x )

  • Har har.. What happend to your pinky!? Maggie bit you? Knew she was acting crazy lately in her lessons.. That bit..*cough* Female dog!! Thanks for the lesson Victor :D

  • i was going to make a dick joke but yeah... been done huh.... :( well then let me critize them for their juvenile humor... tsk tsk.....

  • ahaha maybe i wont say one..

not if i cannot keep it clean XD

  • Oh I have a question, why is "nurete" not in past form, "nureta". Is it enough to have the last verb in past tense or is their any other reason?

  • @doggybag71

Yes, it is enough to have the last verb in past tense. It is also okay to say "nureta" in this case, but it would be two sentences, not only one. It wouldn't sound natural and would sound longer.

    Am I right, Victor?

  • I agree.

  • とても美味しそうですね!

    (「ふにゃふにゃ」の発音がちょっと違うと思います。「ふ」を強調する必要はありません。さらさら、ペラペラなどと比べてください。)

  • Japanese staffs says you're right for the first half of the video but that I did OK on the second half. However they did not like my 段ボール!:(

  • 段 と ボールではなくて、「ダンボール」を一語として考えたらいいと思います!段で止めないで、全部続けて言ってください!:)

  • ...

you are not ld until someone mistakes you for a rasion or dried tomatos.

    ...

  • Hey, let's not forget ふわふわ!

  • isnt this 134? last one was already 133

  • NO that was 132? Did I say 133 somewhere? Let me know please.

  • nevermind the previous comment, misread it myselve :p

  • I want your camera so I can film bugs :(

  • I want your bugs so I can camera film :(

  • 美味しそうね。

  • Hey, I really appreciate all of the hard work you do helping us learn, I have a piece of advice for anyone who needs help learning kanji, you can go to google and search for a program called NJStar, and its a free japanese wordprocessor where you can type in romaji, and it gives you every kanji that is in the dictionary for that romaji word. Its pretty helpful, check it out, unfortunately, it doesnt correct grammar or spelling, so you need to know how to spell it in romaji obviously.

  • Ooh I liked the example sentence. :)

These kinda words are great (gitaigo right?). Though learning too many at once gets confusing.

  • watashi no hon wa mizu wo funya funya shimashite

  • ...limp

    ...to become wet

so many fallic and dirty jokes =P

Thanks Victor, this was a good one.

  • 岩室にずらかって後、 俺の若い蛇が放たれた、 そしてフニャフニャに哀しく成った?

    bad japanese sorry :/

  • After I got out of the cave, my young snake fired and therefore it sadly became soft.

Did I get it right?? I sense a metaphor in your statement :D. Or is it "I got out of the cave after my young snake..."

  • You got it right, except the hanatareta was supposed to be past tense passive, so like "was fired at" or "was shot"

You got it right, not sure if I did xD

  • はい! べんきょうしている!

    じゃ、私も羽二重もちを食べてみたいだね! りょうりしましょう。。。

    ふにゃふにゃ!

  • Comment removed

  • Awe shucks, I had such an epicly perverse joke lined up before that disclaimer at the end.

  • :-) Fun yeah Fun yeah. Finally you are back! I am surprised to see TheReasonWhyGuy is here too... Never thought that he is a dirty joke fanatic :-D

  • I have had a particular body part referred to as ふにゃふにゃ君。

Earlobes, we'll say, just to keep it clean. Yeah. Earlobes.

  • So just trying to think of a good comparison here.

Something like fruit roll ups or air heads would be described as funyafunya

  • @sidewayznut2009

Airheads are too thick to be considered limp. lol

  • Wait, why would you delete a comment, just because it's a little dirty... come'on, are you like 2... do dirty jokes offend you :P

  • I love dirty jokes... but we must respect the classroom!

  • Oh the internet, how you've changed, for once a place for dirty jokes, now a classroom... where's the love? xP

  • I'll tell you what, show me a CLEVER dirty comment and it can stay. But seriously how many times do I have to read someone say they like a certain gender of genitalia? Boring! Feel me?

  • XD yea I hear you there, I don't actually have a joke, I just figured I would pester you about the comment deleting thing... love your work, keep it up :D

  • おお、美味しそう!羽二重餅を食べてみたいですね。どこで羽二重餅を売ってますか?どこでもですか?
