  • The Animal`s version is much better, bad sound...

  • What does the chorus says?

  • @Huisihuilke Thank you for your comment ! The chorus says : "Bom-beedle-dee-doh-bom" (Please, don't ask me what it means :-) The first verse : "Bom-beedle-dee-doh-bom" / Little girl, where did you come from? / You fine little thing, / You make my heart sing, / C'mon, baby, let me buy da wedding ring...... and She (probably) Said Yeah....

  • @rocknsixties Always liked this song, but didn't find it 'till yesterday.

  • @Huisihuilke I'm glad you found it and that you like one of the best Rolling Stones song, "She Said Yeah". Friendly greetings

  • @rocknsixties No, the first verse is: Dum dee-dle dee dum dum. Little girl where did you come from? Try a little bit to make my mouth dribble. Come on, baby, let's ride away in the rain.

  • @NissanR92 Thanks for your comment ! May be I'm wrong and may be you're right. But I found it on a lyrics website for the song "She Said Yeah". Nobody is perfect.

  • @rocknsixties Sorry if my comment sounds a little bit harsh, but my english is not the best. The version I posted is from the Book: "The Rolling Stones Fake Book" It's a pretty cool book, where all their published songs from 1963 till 1971 are in, with notes, some guitar tabs and lyrics. Keep on rockin! :)

  • LOVE!!!!!!!!!!

  • :53 is a serious early 1963 shot (the matching uniforms months).

  • @reissue: Well said mate. The guitars on this track fire me up.

  • This is punk, through and through! Great cover.

  • It's not what but how, the Stones sound brutal on this cut. The guitars are blazing.

  • Shaneeeeeeeel

  • protopunk??

  • Haven't heard this in years, other Stones tunes, yes, but not this one. Not on Aftermath or their earlier one, that I remember. Great Larry Williams.

  • 6 persons haven't got her "Yeah"....

  • nice song

  • thumbs up if the Chanel bleu commercial got ya hear :P

  • I like the Hollies version better.

  • This is the work of John Lennon's favorite songwriter--Larry Williams.

  • she said no to 5 people :(

  • This is a real cool song by The Rolling Stones!! They rocked the '60's!!

  • (Y) yeah!

  • This is raw! Love it

  • It's worth noting that Sonny Bono once said that he wrote it with Larry Williams, and that he had no idea how The Rolling Stones found the song. The Hollies also recorded a version in November 1964, which stayed in the vaults until 2003(and they also performed it on BBC radio session in 1964)

  • @56dinosaur the animals did a good version too . !

  • favourite stones song ever :D

  • Yeah , yeah yeah yeah !

    Rolling stones for Life' !!!

  • I agree with you on who wrote 'I said yeah' as sonny was indeed an underrated songwriter. He wrote many great songs in the '60's.

  • I'm reading that Roddy Jackson at least co-wrote this with Bono. I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Check that dude out. He still rocks.

  • @strandwolf Thanks for your comment. Initially, Roddy Jackson had recorded a demo single of "She Said Yeah".

  • Ace!

  • Ace!!

  • That's TRUE music

  • Cool song

  • its R&B if you want to see what may be precursors to punk check MC5,stooges. punk was born because of the lack of identity the teens of the early 70's had with big bands like the Stones, Led Zep, Pink Floyd and the like.the whole point of punk was that you didn't have to be good to make records and it can't be claimed that the afore mentioned bands couldn't play. the bands of the 60's had nothing to do with punk other than the fact that punk was almost a protest against what they had become

  • Bleu de channel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • @toniofromCB You are right. This is the background music clip of Martin Scorsese's advertising for the launch of the new eau de toilette "Blue Channel" produced 31 August 2010. But I would not presume to believe that Martin Scorsese could have used the soundtrack of my video as the theme song to advertise Channel.

  • @toniofromCB EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL! Loved this song back in the day ,but that commercial brought me here!!

  • i wish this song was longer =(

  • This was written by Sonny Bono

  • @TheBrdzbrd Thanks for your comment ! You're right, Sonny Bono wrote it. Sonny was an underrated songwriter.

  • @TheBrdzbrd Sonny Bono wrote this? Really? I know he wrote Needles and Pins, but... he wrote this? The Stones' best cover ever. IMO.

  • @TheBrdzbrd Sorry to tell you but this was written by Larry Williams in the late 50's - Sonny Bono is incorrectly attributed to being the author on Wiki. It was the B-side to Bad Boy by Larry Williams. Check it out here on Youtube.

  • @200markob Sorry to tell you that Roddy Jackson wrote "She Said Yeah" for Larry Williams with Sonny Bono who produced it (Bono using his alias Don Christy).

  • bleu chanel

  • this is a lot slower than the remastered version that i have on iTunes

  • Check out the original by Larry Williams...

  • @lordkoos l.w's great but stones' is terrific, dirty , wild - it's a r.s. sound song !!!

  • Was this song not one of the forerunners to what would later become known as punk? I wonder if any of the punk groups who used to trash The Stones back in the 70s ever heard this one!

  • @rockonallnight - Mid of the sixties, many british rock bands were precursors of punk rock. Actually, it was not punk. I would say protopunk or Mods. The Who, Pretty Things, Troggs, Creation... were some exemples of protopunk. But, from my opinion, the most significant protopunk band in the sixties was an american band called The Monks who were 10 years ahead on their time. You can see their vids on Youtube. A very awesome rock band. (Sorry for my bad english).

  • @rocknsixties Cheers. Thanks for this track.

  • @ispinimor Thanks for your comment ! I'm glad you liked the video with Rolling Stones at their best.
