@justplanecrazy2916 The 26cc Zenoah I am running has plenty of power for normal flight and basic aerobatics. If you wanted crazy overpower and vertical climbing you'd need something much larger; but my opinion is the 30cc would be a good start.
Nice video! You have alot of patience to make such a video. I know this must have taken a long time to produce but the end result is cool! Thanks, I enjoyed watching...
@72Z15SS Thanks, it actually wasn't that difficult to make the video... I had an old camera which I just set up on a tripod in the corner where it wouldn't get bumped. The hard part was remembering to stop every once in a while to take a picture...
@ww007ka ... yeah it started out clean... but as you can see in the video towards the end I started to lax on that, lol; I think that's how most builds for me go though.
The interior I actually just printed from a picture from a real decathlon, the door I used reference photos from the real plane and drew the pattern by hand; I reinforced the top of the door where the wing sits with a peice of plywood for support
hey great job on your plane i am building one as well. Can you tell me were to find the interior kit as well as the door pattern I am not having any luck. thanks
I am looking at getting one of these and using a dle 30 for power. Could I have your opinion?

great plane what did you use for hinges by the way?
tikifish28 2 years ago
I used robart hinges on all the flight surfaces, haven't had any problems at all, the door uses regular pinned flat hinges
