  • can we stop arguing and just listen to the fucking great rock

  • The Beatles - Chuck Berry, Elvis, ect. = somethings that would be quite different from what they were. Jimmy Page - Jimi Hendrix = A rather different Led zepplin then we know them. See what I'm doing? The world -Jazz and Blues(Dramatically influenced, if not completely indigenous to America) = No rock at all.

    lol.

  • @hitmankgm haha

  • @metallicarocks911 no matter. we got a buncha talented bands.

  • @metallicarocks911 jimi hendrix,the door,lynyrd skynard,allman bros,bob dylan,molly hatchet,Elvis,all the motown groups and doo wop groups,.guns n roses,metallica,the outlaws,buddy holly,stevie ray vaughan,CCR,little richard,nirvana,alice in chains,buddy guy,muddy waters,howlin wolf,elmore james,smashing pumpkins,soundgarden,chuck berry,grateful dead,janis joplin,BLUES IN GENERAL,ROCK AND ROLL IN GENERAL, too many more to name

NO WE ARE NOT JEALOUS BUT RUSH IS AWESOME THOUGH

  • @mattyblues101 8 people, including me, disagree with that, although, you do somewhat have point ;D

  • @mattyblues101 3 best classic Rock 'N' Roll bands; Pink Floyd, The Who and The Rolling Stones, they all have a nationality in common. Just thought I'd throw that one out there lol :P

Honestly, I aint patriotic, all countries are pieces of rock as far as I'm concerned :) Just gotta love the great music where you find it people.

  • @UniverseIsPacman Don't forget Led Zeppelin.... In my book they are in the top 3.

  • @keithajackson80 Unpopular opinion coming up here, despite having some brilliant songs I've always felt Led Zeppelin to be somewhat overrated in my opinion. That's not to take anything away from them, I could certainly see someone arguing for Led Zep instead of the Stones, but I'm just not sold on them as completely as others really.

  • @UniverseIsPacman Jimmy pages guitar playing was at times sloppy and unrefined, but I honestly believe this was due to his drug use and later addiction. robert plants voice which started out incredible back in 69, was showing signs of wear by 72 and was shot by 75. Still between his singing, huge on stage presence, pages brilliance, jpj's underrated bass, and john bonhams sheer ferocity, not to mention their chemistry, they remain one of the greatest if not the greatest rock band of all time.

  • @UniverseIsPacman If you think. The Who,Stones,Floyd are the best classic rock bands thats cool..they are great... but remember america aint jealous of any fucking band or any other countries recycled musical reproduction of ours .. we invented the blues, rock and roll, jazz, doo wop, fucking everthing relevant..everything the great "foreign" bands got influenced by and build on .we created ...this is why people hate america...CAUSE WE ARE THE FUCKING KICK ASS

  • @mattyblues101 The Beatles, The Stones, Rush, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Led Zepplin, etc. The talent lies not with America

  • @MrTheBigDaddy Without the blues none of the bands you names or any other modern music would even been here...all those bands you names are top shelf no doubt about it ...thanks to blues/rock/jazz/RNB/country influence

  • @mattyblues101 that's quite a statement lol

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT Dude, The Doors are from America DA

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT Canada is in America

  • @GoriNapalm lol

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT Actually the progeniators of rock/metal were African-American blues and jazz musicians who were extremely talanted e.g. BB King

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT *talent lies not ONLY with America. And FYI The Doors are from LA.

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT psstttt... The Doors are from California. lol

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT The Doors are from California. :P

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT The Doors?...someone's confuzzled.

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT hmmm history lesson anyone? The Doors are from Cali....i'm a teenager and I know that! duh!

  • @852urkl and you compare the motherfucking goliaths up there with the doors? dude, it's just one band. I'm not a brits lover or something, but face it: the britains rock like no other. sorry dude.

  • @852urkl Thanks wikipedia

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT don't forget motorhead black sabbath ramones ufo

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT and dio rainbow deep purple whitesnake

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT Interesting all of the bands you named would never have made it big without America and any musician will tell you that.

I have a few bands I would like to mention, Styx,Boston,Ted Nugent,The Eagles, Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen, Metallica,Van Halen, Journey,Guns N Roses,Stone Temple Pilots,Nirvana,Elvis Presley,Bon Jovi,Red Hot Chili Peppers,The Doors, Blue Oyster Cult, and KISS. *All American* shall I go on?

Try thinking next time before you make an ass out of yourself again.=]

  • @GhostsInMyAttic Don't you miss it when the option was available to hide the comments? We can still try activating full screen in time, but sometimes we can't help but to be impeded by just a completely retarded enough top comment.

  • @DetestProtest I have learned to ignore or try to ignore the trolls that inhabit this wonderful place, As far as the above ignorant comments I was hoping some intelligence would come along and we could dethrone such senseless babble.

    Cheers!

  • @GhostsInMyAttic, excellent point, these bands would never have made it big without America. To stretch your point even further, I don't have a citation to back me up; but in the 80's Iron Maiden had a large merchandise empire and half of that stuff was sold here in the U.S.

  • @jrmolo I completely agree with you and little known fact is 90% of Canadians live along the U.S./Canadian border most of Canada does not have many places to play, A friend of mine is in a Canadian band and all he says is "we need to break into the American market" with America so spread out and so many states it is a musicians wet dream to get on a circuit here.

Iron Maiden was smart bands used to get rich off "merch" a good example is the rolling stones stores still sell their stuff.

  • @GhostsInMyAttic That's an interesting fact, all except for one of the Canadians I know all come from border areas of US/Canada. You're right about Canadian players, my circuit was New England, when I met Canadian players they all talked about coming down here. Even with the tribute bands, alot of Canadian players came down here to join tribute bands. As far as the Stones go, it is amazing how well they merchandise I wish I could make at least one percent of all that.

  • @jrmolo Ya man and now they want your Passport to enter the U.S. and a complete search of your stuff,

"Living in the Limelight the Universal Dream"

    Cheers =]

  • @MrTheBigDaddyT Boston..? Kansas..?

  • @mattyblues101 You forgot Van Halen.

  • @S4b3rC54z7 yup thats right van halen..im ashamed to forget them

  • @S4b3rC54z7 He forgot a thousand American bands, He is obviously ignorant =]

  • @mattyblues101 nice list of random american artists, most of which you probably just read or heard somewhere. Aside from a select few, most of those artists are nothing more than average

  • @ak47dragunov Average... Makes me laugh

  • @ak47dragunov speculate and assume all you wish

  • @mattyblues101 McDonalds is from your country..

  • @FlyingDonutz yeah and the world is Mmmm loving it

  • @mattyblues101 you missed some epic bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and KISS.

  • @gronetlv7 agreed, but they aren't from america, exept for Kiss :)

  • @gronetlv7 2 of those are english and 1 is australian ¬_¬

  • @mattyblues101 After all rock n' roll is an american invention. But the England took the idea and made it what it is today (Zeppelin, beatles, rolling stones, Sabbath, Deep purple etc.)

  • @doodleguitarist yeah thanks to the invention of the electric guitar..Listen im not trying to bash other countries ..i love england..i love canada and every country.. all i want is the rest of the world to be thankful and apprieciate what america has done for music aswell as other things that helped build modern society

  • @mattyblues101 very great list. add some REAL country stars in the (Willie, Waylon, ect.) and i could live off that music. also dont forget british rock such as the beatles and ozzy

  • @THEFLYINGREDNECK of coarse... the beatles are amazing, probably my favorite all time band..i never wanted to give the impression that only americans make music not true..but we did lay down the law thats for damn sure

  • @metallicarocks911 to make up for it, you guys produced justin bieber...so you even out. Rush is Fucking Amazing!!! Whereas Bieber is Fucking Shit!

  • @johncenafan42792 what about tragically hip? the band? guess who? neil young? david clayton thomas? michael buble? we have more talented musicians that you think ;D

  • YES THEY ARE GOOD but they cant make it in canada so they gotta go get yakees #$

  • @xxvernettixx kk bro

  • @metallicarocks911 I was very jealous.. then Justin Bieber happened...

  • @NativeAmerikila307 im disappointed about that too :/

  • @metallicarocks911 Ok, I'll admit... I'm slightly jealous. Ok mabey alot.

  • @MultiTbeck haha its alright bro!

  • @metallicarocks911 I'm MAJOR jealous, because all the music in the U.S is crap. It's just untalented people who auto tune their voice, and they don't even use real instruments. They use a computer and make anoying techno sounds. I don't really know if they're any rock bands in the U.S. Maybe at some point there was, but nowdays, not really.

  • @MultiTbeck haha

  • @metallicarocks911 AMERICAN BANDS: lynyrd skynyrd, steve miller, jimi hendrix, METALLICA (LOOK AT YOUR SCREEN NAME), bad company, 3 doors down, nirvana, megadeth, PanterA, slayer, van halen, stevie ray vaughan, johnny cash, eagles, queensryche, david allan coe, waylon jennings, HELLYEAH, tom petty, allman bros, doobie bros, bostan, aerosmith, hank williams (SR/JR/III), rebel son, rebel meets rebel, elvis, motley crue, ect.

J***** B***** IS CANADIAN! HAHA! good rock is good rock wherever it is!!

  • @THEFLYINGREDNECK haha, but what about england? haha muse, bealles, stones, floyd? theyre british lol fuck bieber, hes the scum of canadians.

  • this was the first song i heard after my son was born

  • put aside the "alienation"... not indignation.

  • I cannot understate how much the line "Put aside the indignation, and get on with the fascination, the real relation, the underlying theme" makes me smile, ear to ear. :)

  • @wrath1987 *Alienation.. not indignation

  • @Jasonbjamin I stand corrected, thank you.

  • DIO / OZZY IS BLACK SABBATH AND KIM MITCHELL IS ROCK I SAY HE STAYS ON MY LIST MERRY CHRISTMAS

  • This song is in 7/8 time right?
