I have ridden subways in New York, DC and Chicago many times, and I have never seen this type of public display on their subways! Nothing like you see here in Philadelphia. I'm sure it happens, yet, I have ridden the subways during rush hour in NYC many times, no outbreaks ever, and those cars are packed full !

I saw a guy and a girl having an argument on the El near the old Sears at 63 rd. and Market, this guy grabbed her head and began banging her head in the window of the subway car, this was back in the mid 80's around Christmas. Then on the Northeast elevated I was working at the Roosevelt mall one year, and a woman, this horrible toothless witch, was beating the crap out of her nine year old son on the train! I hated riding the Subways after those experiences.
@italobambino43 yeah i know thats why i catch the trenton or the west trenton line to downtown then take the 10 trolley to go to work and i stopped riding the EL because and it always be alot of fights and all types of bullshit.
@italobambino43 yep that is true thats why i like riding the regional rail lines better because it is safe and if do or start shit the conductor will throw you off the train i never seen it happen but it would happen.
@italobambino43 when i was on the EL working night shifts at my job i be seeing fights all the time and crackheads too thats why i dont like riding the EL between 69th street and spring garden between bridge and pratt and girard i have no problem riding.

I recal one of my co-workers had his British Knights taken from him while he was on his way home from work, that was back in '91, good thing his wife used to pick him up at the Allegheney station!

I lived in Philadelphia for 7 years and moved to Florida a few months ago. I certianly dont miss this crap. I used to have to listen to shit like this almost every day.
I dont think that they were crackheads. But it was crazy how that whole fight played out on the trolley. Not excusing the lady for what she did, But in the heat of the moment she found out that the guy did her wrong and she just when crazy.
I am just surprize the septa driver did not kick them off.
