The scope is a red dot sight scope the 2nd set of betteries is for the scope. You put the batteries in the tiny cartridge at the top where a small button is. The scope is a pretty good scope for a red dot sight scope.

um m14 was standard issue the Remington 700 aka m24 is the sniper rifle and still is we switched to the crap m16/m4 variants now you will sometimes see it being used as a dmr witch is not really a sniper more of a half rifleman half sniper

@phish33194 It's just a cheapie red dot sight. It's not very accurate either, the cross hairs aren't center. I own the same package and I went out and bought a hunting scope for my m14 :D

And the scope does work, it's a red dot scope so you probaly need to turn it on...

tbh it sucks but for the price it is pretty good i like it just for that reason.

the fps i cronoed at about 330-340 fps. the iron sights are debatable but are helpful.. they do go up and across with adjustments. the gun weighs about 5.5-6lbs and for the most part is worth 45$-55$
