@erlandson18 - For most videos I use 720p @ 60fps for the gopro. It captures the action very will with crisp colors and picture. The new HD2 also allows me to make slow motion at wvga @ 120fps which I use quite a bit as well.
hi jetlag, thanks for this video! I'm not really into rc cars, but your vids makes me understand why a 5th scaler is great. I would put some fv gear on it and head for the next offroad track to have some driving fun with it! thanks in advance for all your effort you'll surely put into all the 2012 vids you shoot!
@YTschim - Thanks for the commments and compliments buddy. 5th scale is fun, but unfortunately quite a bit more expensive than 10th scale or 8th scale, so many guys don't get a chance to do it. It would be great to see 5th scale grow in popularity and come down in price!
If you have plans on buying a new rc car it would be nice if you could get the ken block rally model cause i didn't found really good vids on that car on youtube. Also! Add more fiiiiiiire to your videos ;) Make you car jump across fire or something :) And (last suggestion) i saw a guy making his rc car skipping on water. You should maybe try that :O !
Jetlag2222 I got a hd go pro hero 960 and I have this problem with the video. I put the go pro on my summit and drove it and when I looked at the video it was skippy and was not smooth. Plz help me and the directions that came were not clear to me
@s07665219 probably has alot to do with the processor on your computer. try 720 p and see if it is any better. you an also try to render a few seconds of video and see if it clears up and smooths out when you watch it.
@s07665219 - good call egyptsean! There's a good chance that is it. I can't believe the gopro is taking jerky frames unless you put too slow of a SD card in it for memory.

@MrGmadden - lol. thanks! I always try to play safe with stuff that might burn or explode. BTW it was 38 degrees F when I made this video and windy, so I wasn't too excited about leaving the door open, but I also needed to have a way for the engine exhaust to exit the shop so I wouldn't aphyxiate. lol. Thanks for the compliments man!
That truck is awesome! Great vid! Looking forward to seeing this monster in action later on. Nice break in. I don't think I would have had that much self control, I would just want to bury the throttle lol :) I have a question though...which is better, the Baja or this?

I now own both trucks, and I LOVE my Baja 5T. Yes it's only 2wd, but it's a total blast to run. I think the LOSI will be just as fun to run, and have better control for racing just because of the 4x4 traction. But for just bashing, I don't think there is a clear winner yet.
@TopFuelProductions - As soon as the LOSI is broken in well, I plan on doing a running video with both the 5IVET and the 5T. Let everyone look at them side by side and running together through many different types of driving. That should answer some questions, and I'm looking forward to doing it. :)
Nice lookin truck. Curious as to how it would compare to the 5b or or 5sc. Only Losi truck ive owned is the Ten-T with the ROSS system. But wasnt overly impressed with it. I had planned on gettin a 5b SS here shortly but i may look into this depending on how your reviews go.

if your gona idle it like that then you should shut it off every once and a wile. along with not boggin the shit out of the engine like you did. your would not only be bogging it, if it was direct drive. but those bell type clutches engage really high. so along with engine bogging your getting further bog off the clutch.....horrible resistance for new engine.....and now i see a burnout!!!!cmon jet do you know what your diong with your 1500$ toy?
@staticxmako - rofl. it never ceases to amaze me on some of these comments.... you know buddy, I have been building and breaking in engines of all types - cars, trucks, planes, boats, nitro, gas, 2 cycle, 4 cycle, etc. for longer than you have been alive. When I actually ruin one during the break-in, I'll let you know. And have a happy New Year. :))
@staticxmako that burnout was small... all of them. and below half throttle.... on REALLY loose gravel.. c'mon. srsly. you think that is gonna hurt the truck. if it did, losi woulda have built a REALLY shitty truck. and they don't. stop whining. watch som slap ma fro vids from back in the days. many RC's can take and do take more damage than you think that they can handle. and they do it with ease. i just think you are, just like me, a bit jelous on jetlag for having such a nice toy ;)
