  • Aniken is a total wannabe of Daigo ... :/

  • @XxGonixXFAN hahahahahahahaha. I really hope you're not serious.

  • @shreddybits In this match? I would have to say yes. Using Daigo's Ryu colour as well as using his second main which is Balrog (not confirmed but he IS used sometimes). Why are you laughing? I'm wondering as to how my comment about a clear observation is funny

  • @XxGonixXFAN Aniken destroys Daigo. This color of Ryu is very popular amongst many japanese Ryu players (including Futachan, who is arguably the best Ryu in japan, rivaled only by the legendary ShootingD). As for Boxer, that's not really a clone of Daigo. Alot of players use Boxer, his second main in ST is Guile, he's made that quite clear both in ST and HDR. He doesn't use Boxer in tournaments, only in casuals.

  • @shreddybits I'm not saying one is better than the other but Daigo has won more tournaments and if you search up videos of Daigo vs Aniken, Daigo wins. I never seen Daigo use Guile ... Ever. It was never confirmed that his main in ST is Guile. He did use boxer against a boxer in a tournament but the tournament was really small, I remember watching it here on youtube.

  • @XxGonixXFAN Never seen Daigo play Guile? You're obviously not looking hard enough. Daigo HIMSELF confirms that he only plays Ryu and Guile in tournaments. He never uses boxer willingly, only as a last resort in a tournament (such as VS Boxer) - he has said before that he plays boxer only casually, and not as a serious character. That aside, Daigo has won more AMERICAN tournaments than Aniken. Aniken doesn't compete in America. Daigo doesn't win tournaments very often in Japan.

  • @shreddybits Of course I'm not looking hard enough. I don't watch all of his matches because that's ... kinda creepy. It doesn't take a genius to confirm Daigo has won more AMERICAN tournaments than Aniken since he's been sponsored since he was a chid. Why bring up that fact? Pointless. I never ever seen him play it but I'd like to get some proof of him confirming that he plays Guile as his main next to Ryu. Send me a message, we're spamming up this video

  • Nice DP! I just cannot do those cross up dps 5:25

  • The last matchup, Ken vs Honda, showcases one of the big imbalances of the game.

Watch as the Honda player, despite having proven himself to be very good, can do nothing against the fireball spamming ken who controls the entire match.

  • @Merknilash It showcases no imbalance. He made stupid mistakes during the match and paid for it. There were much better choices for Kuso to make, and he didn't make them. I should know, because I'm a tournament level ST player, and Honda is my main character,. It's a hard match, yeah, but not impossible as you imply it to be. Go watch how Otochun, the elder brother of Aniken, uses honda VS Aniken.

  • One of the SF2 designers himself said Honda had major balance problems vs fireball characters like Ken/Ryu.

This was addressed in HD Remix.

  • Lol 0:48 catched him with a fist.

  • ya im sure if we are talking bout strength aka dmg im sure zangief has that with his bombs

  • Characters like E. Honda are at a disadvantage when faced with other characters like Ryu and Ken...especially when they spam their hadokens.

  • dont ask me why but at about 2:05 when the boxer stood in the corner jabbing like crazy then being finished by the head but was hilarious. Just wasn't enough to stop the attack lol.

  • yeah. that was really kinda funny. my guess is the boxer was jabbing light punch while pressing and holding all 3 kicks button to store for a power 360. maybe a jab a bit slow which results in getting hit by the head butt.

  • Most characters rapid fire jab can stuff the flying headbutt, but i guess it didn't work for him.

  • whowahhh!

  • the repeated closing in thousand slaps are done very timely at the end.

  • Whoa; 1:11 caught me by surprise. Honda's Super stopped like that, never seen that happen.

  • I've stopped so many Ultras in SFIV with the headbutt that I have come to see the headbutt as a very awesome move - almost as cool as the shoryuken. Once, I headbutted a C.Viper player out of her Ultra - the round ended, but all the smoke was still visible from her Ultra. Heh it was really cool

  • Boxer's headbutt is way better in Super Turbo though. Way more invincibility.

  • Hm, I hadn't considered that. It sure did seem a lot more invincible (I've been playing ST lately)

Too bad they took out Ryu's jumping mp, jumping mp (and then Super if you had it)juggle. I liked it a lot - but jumping mp to Ultra/Super/EX hadoken is almost as cool :D

    Going to Evo this year?

  • It was over as soon as Aniken picked Ken. Still, I've never seen a Honda clear so many hadoukens. Nice jump timing.
